New For Thomson Cruises Summer 2016
We know that summer hasn’t even begun, but we’re already thinking about next year. We’ve lined up some new and exciting changes for Thomson Cruises. Read on to find out more…
Introducing Thomson Discovery…
We’re excited to announce the arrival of the newest addition to our fleet, Thomson Discovery, which will be sailing out of Palma for summer 2016. It’s our biggest vessel yet and, not to be outdone in the entertainment department, it features an outdoor movie screen, a rock-climbing wall, a mini-golf course and more. There’s also a fantastic dining scene with no less then 7 places to eat, including 2 à la carte restaurants, and a coffee shop. You basically won’t want to leave the ship.
Thomson Spirit’s new homeport for 2016 will be Malaga, on Spain’s sun-soaked Costa Del Sol. It’s the perfect base for exploring sights like the Alhambra Palace in the picturesque city of Granada. It also opens up some new and exciting itineraries with destinations including Ibiza Town, Marseille, and even Casablanca. We’ll also be docking in Vigo, Spain – gateway to the famous pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela.
NEW Evening Stays
Cities come alive after dark which is why we’ve added six late-night port visits to our itineraries for summer 2016. You’ll be able to watch the sun go down over a leisurely dinner or see your favourite iconic landmarks all lit up. Why not escape the crowds on an evening tour of Gaudi’s iconic sculptures in Barcelona or soak up the atmosphere of Ibiza Town by sunset? You can even stay overnight in the ancient Croatian city of Dubrovnik – the perfect excuse to kick back with a local Merlot. Take a look at our itineraries here.
NEW Cruise & Stay
Our Cruise & Stay packages allow you to combine your cruise with a hotel stay, before or after you sail, and spend more time in your favourite port. We want you to have more hotels to choose from so we’ve expanded our range of Cruise & Stay options to include city break hotspots such as Corfu Town and Dubrovnik. Keep an eye on the Thomson Cruises website for city stays in Malaga and Palma which are coming soon.
