Pink fairytale drapes, gentle harp music and a perfect sea backdrop was the setting for the ceremony. First up the aisle were the adorable pageboys – Jodie’s son and nephew – who made a beeline for Tim, clutching the rings all the way.
After saying they wouldn’t cry, Jodie and Tim both shed a few tears when they first saw each other. Doesn’t Jodie look amazing in the dress you chose?
The happy couple exchanged vows and then took the kids down to the beach for an idyllic sun-soaked photoshoot.
Meanwhile, the guests tucked in to tacos and coconut martinis up on the sky deck.
The wedding party carried on the celebration on a private pier deck just a few steps from the beach. They feasted on spicy sea scallops, seared beef mignon and mango cheesecake for the wedding breakfast, and then sliced into this three-tier chocolate cake.
Jodie’s dad gave an emotional speech and read out a special self-penned poem. Tim’s best man entertained everyone with embarrassing stories about him and even gave a special thank you to Thomson Weddings and everyone who voted. Finally, it was time to grab their glow sticks, down some tequila shots and hit the dance floor.
