  • How To Have A Caribbean Adventure With Thomson

We’re loving the BBC Two documentary, the Caribbean With Simon Reeve. During this 3-part series, Simon explores the islands, meeting the locals, visiting stunning landscapes, and trying new – somewhat wacky – dishes along the way…

Tonight, at 8pm, we’ll be tuning in to watch the final episode. We’re especially excited as it features Nicaragua, Honduras and Jamaica – 3 destinations Thomson takes you to.

Like what you see? Check out how you can explore the Caribbean with Thomson…

    Day trips to Nicaragua

We offer holidays to Costa Rica. And this action-packed, tropical paradise borders Nicaragua, so you can take an excursion there. Peek over the edge of giant volcanic craters. Get a glimpse of monkeys, sloths and crocs on a river boat tour. Or take a dip in a sizzling hot natural mud bath.

Honduras – our new cruise port

Just as you’ll see from Simon’s adventures on tonight’s show, Honduras’ biggest draw is its barrier reef – one of the greatest in the world, according to him. You’ll find everything from turtles to dolphins under the crystal clear waters. Back on dry land, there are Mayan ruins and adrenaline-inducing zip line adventures. You can port here on a Thomson Dream cruise.

    Sensatori Resort Jamaica

Simon’s final stop is Negril beach in Jamaica – and what a way to end his journey. The powdery white sands of this famous beach unravel for 7 miles. Sensatori Resort Jamaica is pulled up in a prime spot right against the shore. You can see the sea from the swim-up bars, dine in 4 gourmet restaurants and treat yourself to an indulgent massage on the beach.
