Thomson Celebration is renowned for its dining options. Whether you want to sample international cuisine or tuck into a six-course gourmet meal, you’ll find a restaurant onboard to suit. Here’s the lowdown on where to dine…
You don’t need to leave the ship for a fancy meal – Mistral’s Restaurant is where you’ll get the ultimate fine dining experience. Food is prepared with fresh ingredients by a team of talented chefs and the intimate setting is perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion. Unsurprisingly, this is our most popular restaurant, so be sure to make a reservation. You’ll have to pay a cover charge, but it’ll be worth it.
It wouldn’t be a cruise without a gala dinner and Captain’s cocktail party. There’s a formal dress code, so it’s a great excuse to dust off your finest gowns and experience a sophisticated soiree. You can choose from early or late sittings and, of course, there’ll be drinks and entertainment to accompany your meal. Perhaps you’ll even get a photo with the man himself.
This two-in-one restaurant will meet all your dining needs. If you’re busy taking part in endless activities or running off to an excursion during the day, you can grab a quick salad, pizza or pasta dish. In the evening, it transforms into Hot Stone @ The Terrace Grill where you can tuck into sizzling food served on hot volcanic rocks for an extra charge.
Sit-back, relax and enjoy your meal – the service here is first class. Waiters are on hand to meet your every need and there are no formal sittings, so you can dine when you please. Whether you fancy a hearty meal or a low-calorie snack, there’s a huge variety of hot and cold food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And if you’re feeling hungry after a full day’s excursion, you can tuck into a delicious multi-course evening meal.
A new addition to the ship’s dining scene in 2014 was Kora La. This à la carte restaurant specialises in Asian dishes, with interiors that echo the exotic menu.
The Lido Restaurant is a self-service buffet, so you can load up your plate with as much as you want. International theme nights take place twice a week where you can tuck into your favourite international fare and sample exotic cuisine from the likes of China and Mexico. There’s also an alfresco dining area for when the weather’s nice. Why settle for three meals a day?
