Jonathan Saunders Unveils His Exclusive Beachwear Designs
To mark the launch of our newest Sensatori Resort in Jamaica, we teamed up with leading British fashion designer, Jonathan Saunders, and here is the very stylish outcome…
Back in March we announced we’d joined forces with world-famous fashion designer Jonathan Saunders (pictured below) to celebrate the opening of our latest 5T Sensatori Resort in Jamaica. His task was to design a limited edition range of beachwear and beach bags, using the Caribbean island as his muse… and boy, did he deliver.

Yes, we’d look pleased with ourselves, too, if we were barefoot on Jamaica’s Seven Mile Beach…
Up until now, we’d only seen sketches of the collection – and they were enough to get us excited – but then the official shots of the products landed in our inbox and, we can’t lie, our gobs were well and truly smacked.
Firstly, let’s talk about the bags. Inspired by the graphic print dress that the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in during the Jubilee Tour, the design translates perfectly to this oh-so-chic beach accessory. It’s available in 4 zingy colour combinations, but if we were to pick a favourite, we’d go with the pink and red (below right)…
Obviously you’ll need something suitable to wear with your stylish arm candy, which is where the sarong comes in. Also available in 4 colour palettes – all featuring a mixture of bold and subtle tones – there are endless ways to ‘throw it on’ for that effortless beachy look. We’re fans of the halter-neck approach for a touch of glamour, as shown by our model.
To keep the men-folk looking just as trendy – no, we’re not about to suggest a Beckham-esque fashion statement – Jonathan has also designed a beach bag for the boys. The grey, blue and white casual bag is simple, stylish, and needs only be paired with boardshorts and a tan.
Finally, Jonathan drew on his experience of studying product design to create (and name) the bespoke ‘Amber’ pool area at the Sensatori Resort Jamaica. The über-fashionable space with its newly-zhuzhed-up Bali beds, cushions and loungers, is the jewel in the resort’s crown. Turquoises, yellows and Klein Blues mix fluently with calming neutral tones, which, with any luck, will encourage hours of lounging around the pool. It just has that effect, doesn’t it…?
As for our model, well, she clearly agrees…
Fancy bringing the same kind of glamour to your wardrobe with the limited edition beach bags and sarongs? Well, guests checking in to the Sensatori Resort Jamaica from 9th June will be given the luxury accessories on arrival (while stocks last).
A little closer to home you can buy them in selected Thomson shops across the UK, with all proceeds donated to the NSPCC.
They’ll be available from our Next Generation Shops in Bristol, Liverpool, Bluewater and Gateshead from July, along with the following…
