  • Mumsnet Bloggers Do Majorca: The Verdict

The results are in! The Protor Aparthotel Bonaire in Majorca was a big hit with our Mumsnet bloggers, but don’t just take our word for it…

Here at Thomson HQ we know our Thomson Family Resorts are pretty special, but sometimes it’s important to get some expert opinions. And who better to ask than a group of Mumsnet bloggers? As we revealed last week, we sent the discerning mums – along with their children – to the Protur Aparthotel Bonaire in Majorca. And according to their reviews it seems we passed the toddler test with flying colours. So, what did our roving reporters love most about their trip? Here’s what they had to say…

Naomi Migliano, aka Blue (Bluebird Sunshine)

    Mum to: Shine, aged 2

“The highlight of the trip for me was the chance to relax and enjoy a superb evening meal, child-free, all the while knowing my daughter was safe and happy in the evening crèche. What a holiday luxury. My daughter’s highlight would have to be meeting Thomson the Dog. She still talks about him daily!”

Natalie Brown (Confessions of a Crummy Mummy)

    Mum to: BB, aged 2

“The attention to detail when it came to the needs of both parents and little ones made this the most relaxing holiday I’ve had since becoming a mum. Thomson clearly understands what each member of the family wants and expects in terms of accommodation – this meant it was an unforgettable holiday experience for my daughter and I.”

Emma Shilton (Life According to Mrs Shilts)

Mum to: Little Mr, aged 7 months

“The best bit of the trip for me was visiting Palma for the day. We had a lovely morning at Palma Aquarium and I braved having a macaw sit on my shoulder as I walked through the rainforest area. I lounged in the sunshine at a lovely harbour-side restaurant (Ca n’Eduado), eating good food with good company, while my baby slept. What more could I ask for?”

    Monika (Mum on the Brink)

Mum to: Max, aged 15 months

“One of the best parts of the holiday for me was settling in to our room after the long journey. It was lovely – there was a proper cot waiting for Max and a travel cot in the lounge area. I filled up the bath with bubbles (amazing hotel bath gel) and Max happily splashed around, washing off all the (unlimited!) ice cream from his earlier adventures by the pool. We tucked in to the fruit basket and read together on the sunny terrace. The perfect start to a relaxing holiday.”
