Thomson Spirit’s been a household name with us at Thomson Cruises since 2003. And, in 14 years, it’s taken customers all over the world, from the exotic shores of the Eastern Mediterranean, to European hotspots like the Canary Islands and Cyprus. Currently though, Thomson Spirit sails out of the red roof-topped city of Dubrovnik, Croatia, which you might just recognise as the setting of King’s Landing in the hit TV series Game of Thrones. From here, you can take in the postcard-pretty sights of Venice and Montenegro on our seven-night Venetian Vistas cruise, bring history to life with visits to Athens, Olympia, and Corfu on the Classical Greece itinerary, or see what Cyprus and Turkey have to offer on Aegean Titans.
Being one of our smaller ships gives Thomson Spirit a lovely homely feel – don’t be surprised if staff remember your name, or you see a few familiar faces at dinner. There are four restaurants to choose from, so there’s always something new to tempt your tastebuds. For everyday dining, there’s the Lido Restaurant and the Terrace Grill. The former’s a buffet-style affair, serving up a spread of pastas, salads, fish and meat. Occasionally, the chefs will put on a themed evening, and you can get anything from Indian spice fusions to Tex-Mex. In the Terrace Grill, meanwhile, you can expect on-the-go options, like burgers and pizzas. For more elegant evenings, The Compass Rose and Sirocco’s restaurants allow you the option of dining in sophisticated surroundings – perfect for special occasions.
We know one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we give you options to let you choose how you want to cruise. When you book your cruise, you’ll get full board meals included in the price. But, if you want to enjoy a few cocktails, without worrying about the bar tab you can upgrade to All Inclusive. Next summer’s Thomson Spirit itineraries go on sale on 27th July 2017, and for a limited time we’ll be giving away free All Inclusive upgrades*. Set yourself a reminder, because we’re sure they’ll be snapped up quickly.
A cruise wouldn’t be a cruise without show-stopping entertainment – and, we’re proud to say that Thomson Spirit has won an award for Best Entertainment. The star of the show is the Broadway Lounge, a two-storey theatre, where you can expect to see comedy acts from the UK, and West End-style dance numbers. If you feel like a bit of friendly competition, head to High Spirits for a light-hearted quiz or a game of bingo in the early evening. And as the night goes on, choose from taking a gamble in the casino, watching a blockbuster in the cinema or strutting your stuff in the disco.
