Relaxing and romantic facilities
The facilities onboard Marella Explorer 2 are designed with adults in mind. We’re talking a luxe Champneys Spa, complete with a beauty salon, relaxation room and a steamy sauna. Book in for a treatment with your other half – facial, body wrap or both? – then, relax in a muscle-soothing hot tub. Meanwhile, four whirlpool baths bubble away by the main open-air pool – hello stress banishing – and there’s a pool bar for ordering those frozen cocktails straight to your lounger. Thanks to the chic cocoon chairs and romantic Bali beds on The Veranda too, it’s an adults-only cruise at its finest.
Adult-friendly dinners and drinks
Post poolside chilling, get ready in your cabin and then make a beeline for one of the nine top-notch restaurants. Watch chefs whip up around-the-world dishes at The Market Place, try authentic Italian dishes at contemporary-cool Vista, or tantalise your taste buds at Asian eatery Kora La. For a special fine dining spot, The Dining Club is your go-to. Here, you’ll be treated to high-end cuisine in a swanky setting. After something bubbly instead? You’ll love Flutes. Sip prosecco while listening to the soothing sounds of a pianist. The best bit? You can press a button to get drinks delivered to your table.
Action-packed sports, sights and shows
From the sun-kissed Mediterranean to the tropical Caribbean, Marella Explorer 2 ticks off plenty of holiday hotspots. And when the ship’s at sea, you can work up a sweat in the gym, head to The 19th Hole – a clubhouse-style bar with two golf simulators – before testing your skills on Deck 15’s mini-golf course. When night falls, let your hair down on the Indigo Club’s dancefloor, try your luck in the Indigo Casino, or head to the Broadway Show Lounge. There are two new productions making their debut onboard, including an acrobatic display.
