The Catalonia Gran Dominicus has a huge pool, with a hot tub and a shallow area for children. You can pick from seven restaurants and four bars. The activity list includes aerobics and scuba diving. You can also book kayaks and catamaran trips. In the spa, you can get massages and beauty treatments, and there’s a hair salon*, too.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
You can get scuba diving* lessons in the pool, before the instructors take you out to practice what you’ve learned at sea. Catamaran trips* and sea kayaking* are also on offer.
Footbal and ping pong are all on the to-do list. Children can let off steam at the hotel-run kids’ club, while grown-ups can sign up for aqua aerobics in the pool or dance classes in the gardens.

There's a pizzeria right by the beach, so you can tuck into freshly baked pizza with sunset views. There’s also a Caribbean place, an American steakhouse, and an Italian restaurant.
Big international buffets are laid out at El Taino restaurant, and there’s a second all-you-can-eat place which specialises in Italian cuisine. There's also an all night snack bar - you can grab light bites until 6am.

You can get your hair done at the hotel’s salon*, or head to the spa for a massage*. If you’re craving a bit of exercise, there’s a gym*, as well.
There's a menu of facial and body treatments to choose from, for ultimate relaxation.
The El Merenguero bar hosts live music and dance shows at night, and there’s a disco bar which stays open until late.

There's a club for 4-12-year-olds and another for 13-17-year-olds.
The pool here’s absolutely massive – it’s got a hot tub built in to the main section, and children get their own shallow bit. There’s also a thatched-roof bar a couple of steps from the water.
A carpet of palm trees separates the pool from a tropical ribbon of sand. There’s a beach bar serving snacks close to the waterfont, where there’s a load of comfy sunbeds.
