Hotel Tiefenbrunner

Stayed for a week in a beautiful room at front of hotel looking out on the Main Street and mountains. Staff were all very friendly especially the restaurant staff and nothing was too much trouble. As it turned out the holiday was a bit of a disaster with a fall on the second day at the top of the Horn resulting in an ambulance ride to hospital. Three badly broken bones in left arm. The hotel were very helpful and attentive offering assistance. We were supplied with extra pillows, a fan and other extras to try and help. The restaurant staff were there to carry breakfast and evening salads to the table, they also brought cushions to support my arm. I won’t mention names as everyone was extremely helpful and I don’t want to leave anyone out. It says something when most of the staff have been there for years showing that they also have a good employer, all of which shows in the excellent service given. Our room was kept immaculately clean and all of the housekeeping staff greeted guests with friendly smiles. The garden was lovely and peaceful and quiet when I sat in it. My husband enjoyed the indoor pool which unfortunately I did not get to use I will definitely revisit this hotel when hopefully I will have an accident free visit to enjoy this beautiful place.

Stayed here in early July, food excellent, staff very helpful especially Paula in the restaurant who helped regarding food suitable for my Gluten free partner and a fussy eating young daughter ! Rooms very clean and amazing views from rooms at the back of the hotel looking out towards the mountains. Would not hesitate coming back to this hotel.Brilliant.
