Best time to go to Jordan
As with most Middle Eastern countries, you can travel to Jordan all year round. Spring and autumn are considered the best seasons, though, when temperatures are warm, but not too toasty. In the summer – between June and September – temperatures can reach a sizzling 40°C in places like Amman and Aqaba. The latter stays relatively warm in winter – along with the Dead Sea – but there’s a chance of snow in Petra, and the nights can get nippy in the desert.
