With 4 swimming pools and a beach on its doorstep, the Tikida Dunas is a water baby’s paradise.
This hotel has a standout setting. Not only is it on its own stretch of hourglass-fine sand, but it’s just footsteps from shops, restaurants and bars. The centre of Agadir’s only a 10-minute walk away, too.
There are 4 pools, 4 restaurants, and plenty of sports to try.

Would visit again.....
My wife & I stayed for a week in October. Would definately recommend. Possible we will visit again too. Starting with the food, overall a decent choice at all meal times. Would prefer the Moroccan & Asian themed restaurants to have been table service rather than buffet but a small negative. Drinks are decent too. The bar area of an evening is good with plenty of comfortable chairs laid out close to the bar. The karoake bar is good for some live music and dj tunes later in the evening. The weather was great, a bit misty till about 10am but lovely after that, although it got a bit windy in the afternoon. The pool area was nice with plenty of sunbeds available. More

Another Fantastic Holiday at the Tikida Dunas
I visited the Tikida Dunas earlier in June this year, originally I planned on visiting the Riu Palace on my next visit but due to bad ratings I stuck to what I knew. My first visit was lovely but my second visit was even more amazing. Firstly the staff at the hotel from bar staff to restaurant, entertainers, reception, cleaners were all so friendly and for me this really made a big difference, the locals are also very friendly people and all are extremely hard working. Also the Thomson rep Hatim is such a lovely guy, full of local knowledge and always willing to help out such good customer service from him. Rooms were cleaned daily and extremely spacious. Restaurants, there are 4 altogether the main buffet restaurant for the evening and the beach restaurant for breakfast and dinner, the Asian restaurant and the Moroccan restaurant. I am an extremely fussy eater but i ate well throughout my holiday, on my previous visit i never went to the Asian restaurant as it was so badly reviewed, however i went during this visit and really enjoyed the food it was actually my husbands favourite restaurant, the Moroccan was also lovely. The pool is huge and you can always find a seat somewhere, however we did tend to stick to the beach for most of our holiday, just because we preferred the peace plus its just lovely with the breeze when things heat up to much. We visited the local souk and loved it especially seeing and smelling all the spices was amazing. Overall i cannot find any fault with this hotel i find it was great value for money and we had an amazing holiday met some amazing people and the staff couldn't do enough for us, we are already planning a 3rd visit early next year to meet up with the wonderful people we met during our stay. Weather wise i would recommend if visiting to do 10 days or 2 weeks, weather is not guaranteed anywhere but our first week we had 3 days of cloud, but the weather that followed more than made up for it and we came back with great tans.More
Stayed here with my fiancé in October for 10 nights. On arrival we checked in quickly with no problems. The hotel and room was spotless, couldn’t fault the cleanliness what so ever. Fresh water was given each day as well. Rooms a good size, only problem is we had 2 single beds and 2 separate duvets. Balconies can be rather dark on a night time as well, especially if you wasn’t in a pool facing room. The room was lovely however very repetitive by me and my fiancé don’t like to try new foods which limited what we would actually eat. There is a lovely restaurant on the beach from, can’t remember the name but it’s the blue one, very cheap and comes highly recommended. The staff are very polite and quick service at meal times, did seem to have an issue with 2 people sitting on a table for 4, even when it’s not even busy and loads of 4 seated tables left. Entertainment at night was very poor for the standard of hotel. Just 2 singers every night. We was in bed by 10 every night cause we was just bored! Might be better during the peak seasons. The drinks were spot on as well, can vary depending on which bar you go to, the pool bar tends to have weaker drinks. Overall, a stunning hotel with great service and would highly recommend staying in! More

Who should we believe?
Already sent at great length, but I cannot check whether it has already been registered. Magnificent hotel, spoilt by the absence of an effective dress code. Customer Services in Mallorca claim there is a Group code, left to the discretion of individual managements for enforcement. Dumas management claims it has a directive from Head Office that only a "relaxed code" should be applied; I was unable to ratify this but, if true, it effectively means "no code", because restaurant staff cannot be expected to act as sartorial judges on what dress should be admissible. There are clear instructions posted outside each of the four restaurants, and they are largely ignored. So, anyone wanting a pleasant dining experience should be careful to check before booking. I am unable to rate it presently at better than 2* - in a 4* hotel. Hopefully the Tui influence will improve, rather than lower standards of dining room decorum.More
Great hotel... not so great location
We traveled here as a couple and overall had a great relaxing time. The hotel was great, nice and clean with well kept grounds. The food at the hotel was basic but we would always find something we liked to eat (the pizzas were good fresh from the pizza oven). Breakfast was the worst of the meal times and we tended to skip this mostly. Agadir itself isn't as established as our past holiday destinations, and felt unsafe on the beach as you get harassed by people selling things. Also we found the beach was pretty poor as their was a lot of rubbish about. We did visits a few gorgeous restaurants whilst we were their, pure passion and el toro both were beautiful and so cheap (we went to el toro twice) More
