Get to know the village of Nerja, home to one of the world’s most important and impressive underground caves. Once a small village, Nerja’s now an elegant town with a really pretty old quarter. From the famous ‘Balcon de Europa’, a magnificent promenade along the edge of a cliff, enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean. Plus, you’ll see the small coves and beaches below, set against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. Nerja’s most spectacular attraction, however, is undoubtedly its caves, which are among the largest and most interesting in Europe.
