On this tour, you’ll see the riverside city of Rostock from three different angles – road, river and rail. We’ll make our way into the city by tram, just like the locals do. While modern housing blocks and 19th-century villas fill the suburbs, you’ll find a jigsaw of pastel-painted merchants’ houses, Baroque halls and Medieval churches decorating the city centre. An hour’s walking tour will take in St Mary’s Church, northern Europe’s oldest university, and the tangle of old-world shopping streets. After a bit of free time, you’ll head down to the jetty for a Warnow River cruise. Sparkling wine and local beer will be served up as we glide along the working waterways.
