The Canary Islands are so famous for their volcanic landscapes and sweeping countryside, their towns and villages often get overlooked. Not today, though, as we’ll take you to explore one of the isles’ most picturesque towns, Santa Cruz de La Palma. You’ll chug through La Palma’s capital in a trolley train. La Palma's part of Spain that’s retained its traditional side. Instead of commercial pubs and restaurants, you’ll encounter cottages and cobbles, sunny squares and flower-wrapped wooden balconies. There’ll be a guide with you, and they’ll point out the churches, statues and museums that tell the story of the town. The train will slow in all the right places, too, so you can snap pictures of the best bits.
