This trip covers Grand Turk from top to toe. You’ve got off-road vehicles to thank for the thoroughness of the itinerary – these 4-wheel-drives can take you to places sightseeing coaches can’t. Take the roads less travelled along the island’s southern coast and pass the salt flats. Then turn west to rumble through Duke Street and Front Street in the capital, Cockburn Town. From here, you’ll steer to the unmanned north. The handbrake will be put on for the first time near North Creek, and you’ll get out for a walk along the beach. Your guide will take you on a shell-safari, where you’ll look for the most common and rarest shells to be found on Grand Turk. After another short drive, you’ll make your second pit-stop at the island’s lighthouse. From the headland here you can see across the Atlantic all the way to the horizon.
The minimum age for this tour is 6 years old. Although an easy walking tour, it may get bumpy, so this tour isn't recommended if you have joint problems.
