You’ll see a selection of Skagen’s show-stopping natural sights on this tour. Starting at the port, you’ll travel with your guide to the first stop at the North Sea Oceanarium. It’s the biggest aquarium in Northern Europe, with over 6,500 different animals on display, from sunfish and seahorses to seals and sharks. One of the standout attractions here’s the 17-metre-long fin whale skeleton, which was put on display in 2016 when the dead whale washed up on a beach in the area. You’ll finish your visit off with a stroll through the 12-metre shark tunnel. When you’re done, you’ll head off to your last stop at the Rabjerg Mile. It’s the biggest moving sand dune in Northern Europe, and shifts over 15 metres a year. You’ll have some time to wander around the two-square-kilometres of sand here, before travelling to Skagen, where you’ll have some free time to explore. We’d recommend going for a wander around the art museum. You'll be able to learn about the Skagen Painters, a group of artists that travelled to the town in the 1870s, and see some of their work up close.
