Today you’ll head out on a half-day tour to explore Estonia’s oldest brewery – the Saku Estate. Beer’s been brewed here since 1820, and on the tour you’ll learn all about its history, and the processing and storage of Saku beers. After the tour, you’ll get to sample some of the beers and pair them with Estonian snacks, like cheese sticks, pickles and meatballs. Then you’ll head to Tallinn’s old town and explore its many landmarks on foot. Snap photos of Medieval houses, the Gothic town hall and the charming 15th-century apothecary. There’ll also be time for shopping before you head back to the ship, and you might like to pick up colourful prints, homemade jewellery, hand-knitted woollen sweaters, beer mugs and sweets from Estonia’s famous Kalev chocolate factory.
