Big-ticket sights and tiny models form a little-and-large set-up on this trip. You’ll start your visit to Hamburg with a driving tour around the city’s most iconic locations, like the smart City Hall and the Reeperbahn – known as the ‘Mile of Sin’. Things shrink to a fraction of the size at the main attraction, though, as you take a tour of Miniatur Wunderland. This huge model railway, in the UNESCO-ranked Speicherstadt district, is the largest of its kind in the world. Scaled-down versions of Las Vegas, Rome and the French Alps have all been created, and there’s even an airport where model planes take off and land. Once you’ve finished this around-the-world tour, you’ll head off for a bratwurst and the return journey to port.
