This tour revolves around the water, ranging from one of the world’s busiest waterways to a famous submarine. You’ll be driven past the locks of the Kiel Canal, which links the North and Baltic seas, on your way to the Laboe Tower. This 230-foot memorial was built to honour German naval servicemen, and you can take a lift to the top to check out the views. Next, you’ll walk across the road to the U-995 submarine. This one-time war vessel’s been turned into a museum, and you’ll be able to experience the cramped conditions inside. Once you’re done, you’ll board the coach for the return journey to port.
- SUITABILITY Moderate physical activity.
