This half-day excursion’s all about Lindesnes lighthouse, and the dramatic seascapes that surround it. It was built in 1655, making it the oldest in Norway, plus it’s at the southernmost tip of the country. On your visit, you’ll go on a guided tour of the lighthouse, and have time to visit the museum that’s been built inside it. There’ll be the option of climbing all the way to the top of this building – the effort’s worth it for the panoramic views of Norway’s vivid south cape. You’ll pause for a home-baked muffin and a hot drink before getting back on the bus. The return journey to Kristiansand will take in part of the scenic North Sea Route. Look out for the striking scenes that have inspired many painters and artists.
