This tour shines a spotlight on Iceland’s heritage. Your first stop’s Viking World, a museum showcasing a variety of relics that date back to when Iceland was first settled. The giant ship’s the highlight here – it’s an exact replica of a real boat that was found in 1882. After a quick snack break, you’ll then set off through Iceland’s incredible countryside to Krysuvik, an area that’s packed with hot springs. Keep your eyes peeled on the way there, because you’ll pass by volcanic craters and lava fields. During your 30-minute stop, you’ll get to wander around, pose for pictures against the red, green and yellow-coloured landscape, and see the steaming geysers up close. From here, you’ll head to the last stop at Eldhestar Horse Park, home to Icelandic horses. The only breed in the country, they’re small but strong, with a long shaggy mane in the winter. You’ll watch a show about the history of the horses, which dates back to the 10th century, then you’ll visit the stables to meet some of the stars. Afterwards, all that’s left is the return journey back to the port.
