On this two-hour driving tour around Sihanoukville, you’ll get to see why Cambodia’s quickly becoming a must-see hotspot for travellers. You’ll drive to a small fishing village on the coast. Here, you can take plenty of pictures of the traditional fishing boats bobbing off-shore. Then, you’ll drive to Wat Leu Temple. It’s in the middle of a hilltop courtyard, surrounded by red Buddhist houses. You’ll then head to the market at Phsar Leu, before continuing to see Ochheuteal Beach. Here, you’ll get a great look at Cambodia’s huge coastline. You might even see wild monkeys, too. Next, you’ll drive to Independence Hotel – the first beach resort in the area. It was built in 1964, and Jacqueline Kennedy stayed here in a suite they’ve named after her. The last stop on the tour is the town of Wat Krom. You’ll get to see the bright-yellow Buddhist statues up close before going back to the port.
The majority of this tour is by coach, with only a few photo stops.
