Iceland’s natural beauty does all of the talking on this trip, as you tick off top-drawer coastal views and cascading torrents of water. You’ll start with the day’s big-ticket item – the Dynjandi falls. A surge of water streams down a stepped cliff side here, and the name literally translates as ‘thunderous’. It’s tucked into one of the Westfjords peninsula bays, too, so there are widescreen views when you turn your back on the falls. You’ll head to a traditional Icelandic village next, where fishing boats and farms fill the lens. As you stroll around this sleepy settlement, you’ll learn about its Viking history, too. When you’ve finished exploring, you’ll take the coastal road back to port.
