This entire trip centres around Iceland’s biggest fjord, so the panoramas are on point from minute one. You’ll start at a popular photo spot at the tip of a peninsula, with emerald-coloured Vigur Island in the background. Next, you’ll continue along the scenic coastal roads until you reach Litlibær. This peaceful headland’s great for spying seals in their natural habitat, and your guide will try to find a pod of them for you to see. At a nearby turf farm you’ll learn how locals survived in these rural climes in the 1900s, and try your hand at churning fresh cream into butter. You can sample some of your handiwork on a traditional flatbread, before tucking into coffee, waffles and homemade jam.
