As a seafront city, it’s no surprise that Copenhagen’s maritime traditions go back years and years. Its harbour and canals are lined with vessels of all shapes and sizes, from the luxury yacht at Langelinie to the wooden sailboats in Nyhavn. On this trip, you’ll leave the land behind and hop into a kayak to explore the city’s waters. Your guide will give you some tips on how to use the paddle to manoeuvre the boat, before you set off. If there’s time, you’ll glide past the old marine station of Holmen. This part of town is turning into a stylish new area with top designer buildings and houses, all based on traditional architecture. You’ll make a stop at a waterfront café to give your paddle a rest, before heading back to the kayak station.
