You’ll get a taste of Rhodes’ beach-brushed east coast on this trip. After leaving the harbour behind you’ll weave along vineyard-lined roads past the hotel-heavy towns of Kolymbia and Kallithea. When you arrive at Tsambika Beach, you’ll clap eyes on one of the most undisturbed strips of sand on the entire island. The waterfront’s nestled between a pair of tree-speckled hills – there’s a dainty monastery at the top of one. The sandy shoreline’s like a mattress when it comes to sunbathing, and the dunes behind are building-free. You’ll get three hours to lounge, swim and stroll about, before heading back to the harbour.
