The epic scenery’s in good supply on this tour. You’ll start off in Molde – a little city tucked between fjords. It’s known as the Town of Roses, which refers to the numerous, sweet-smelling rose gardens dotted about the place. But it’s also a launch point for trips down Norway’s Atlantic Ocean Road – Route 66, with dramatic sea views thrown into the mix. This stretch of road is like a natural rollercoaster, twisting and turning its way across the ocean. It connects a series of itsy-bitsy islands, via a total of eight bridges. And even though it’s small in size, it’s really big on dramatic landscapes. It was even voted the Norwegian Construction of the Century, back in 2005. There are well-placed areas to pull over along the way. And you’ll wrap things up with a ferry ride over to Haholmen for a coffee and cake stop.
