On this tour, you’ll get to see the Guatemalan countryside at its best as you drive along the longest road in the world, the Pan-American Highway. Start your day with a trip to the cathedral, the oldest in Santo Tomas port. Your guide will tell you all about the Belgian settlers and Maltese clergymen that built it. Then, you’ll set off onto the Pan-American Highway itself. Take in the picturesque landscapes as you weave along winding roads, passing fields of water buffalo, banana and palm tree plantations, and the river that divides Guatemala and Honduras. Next, you’ll make a stop at the Alex House, a restaurant on the Santo Tomas waterfront. Here, you’ll have some refreshments before heading back to port.
