This tour is an easy and fun way to see the sights of Bergen. And it leaves no stone unturned. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll hop onboard your two-wheeled Segway for a two-hour adventure. You’ll roll by the Bergenhus Fortress – one of Norway’s oldest and best preserved castles, with the grand grounds to match. Then you’ll see another of the city’s historic faces, as you wheel into Byrggen. This postcard-famous part of town is stuffed with rows of wooden, harbourfront houses – some dating back nearly a thousand years. It’s even been given the tick from UNESCO. The next section of the tour takes an even more aquatic turn. You’ll whizz past the lively fish market, where hawkers shout ‘salmon!’, ‘crab!’ and ‘prawns!’, then it’s on to the Bergen Aquarium. From here, you’ll wrap things up with a trip up to Fjellveien – an outlook offering 180° views over the city and the North Sea.
