Monaco is one of Europe’s smallest independent states, where the streets are lined with lavish architecture and supercars cruise past yacht-filled marinas. This tour, however, is focused on the historic old town, located on a rocky promontory known as Monaco Rock. This part of the principality has managed to hold on to its time-stamped charm, and is home to narrow alleys that are best explored on foot. As you walk around, you’ll see the exteriors of the Prince’s Palace, and the Saint Nicholas Cathedral – where Prince Rainier married Grace Kelly back in 1956. At the end of the tour, you’ll have just over an hour to explore under your own steam, before meeting up with the guide to walk back to the ship.
