You’ll be introduced to one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic Sea on this day out. After a scenic drive along the Montenegrin coastline, you’ll land in Budva, a place that’s at the forefront of the country’s tourism. It’s mostly down to Budva’s old town, a waterfront warren of narrow, cobbled streets tucked behind 15th-century Venetian walls that’s often dubbed a mini-Dubrovnik. You’ll join a guided tour of the area, before you get some time to yourself. Explore more of the ancient castle, pick up take-me-homes from the little artisan shops, or stop for a drink in a sea-facing bar. We’ll take a detour on the way back to the ship, stopping for photos above Sveti Stefan. It’s a tiny island connected to Montenegro by a causeway, and is famous for its lovely pink-tinged beaches.
