Corsica’s fragrant maquis plants have earned it the nickname ‘the scented isle’, and you’ll experience this signature scent during a guided tour of the island’s botanical gardens. Perched on top of a hill with sea views, the seven-acre site is home to hundreds of plant varieties from Corsica and around the world. You’ll learn all about its history, too, which dates back to the Bronze Ages. Ancient relics from this era can still be seen in the park today.
