Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife
With its plum sea-and-mountain setting, the Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife showcases this Canary Island at its best.
Views don’t come much better than this hotel, with volcanic slopes to the rear and sea views to the front. And location-wise, you’ve got a little beach on the doorstep and Costa Adeje is a 20-minute stroll away.
The hotel’s curved design means lots of the rooms look out to sea.

A fantastic hotel I felt totally relaxed the minute we entered the . All the staff are amazing and friendly nothing is to much trouble. The hotel is so clean Rooms are large and very comfatable food was excellent so much choice. The only complaint I have is that the food fans drinks in the hotel are very expensive. I must mention one..member of staff who was superb. My husband hurt his foot so every evening I would go to the bar for ice. Vincent supplied the ice and something to put it in and after the first evening I did not even have to ask he would see me at the bar and would automatically get some ice. Fantastic customer service. I cannot wait to return to this hotel.More

Beautiful, peaceful, gorgeous hotel & staff
Firstly don’t get a taxi from the airport, they drive like nutters! On arrival to the hotel, the lobby is lovely, big open planned with the bar, evening entertainment and buffet on the same level. The staff are very friendly and approachable. We got a sea view room on 4th floor (431), right in the middle of the hotel so full on sv. Very big rooms, enough room for a couch, 3 single beds and a cot. And still easily walk around everywhere. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Safe was €22 for the week. There was also tea/coffee making facilities and a mini bar (you can empty if you want to put your own bits in, for example baby bottles and water). Bathroom again was lovely and big, with toiletries and in the shower it had a body-wash/shampoo dispenser. The balcony had 2 chairs and a table on, with plenty of room. Although there is no light on the balcony for nighttime which was a shame. The view however was gorgeous! You can see over the 2 pools out to the black sand beach. The hotel also had a man made beach on site, which is golden sand. The buffet was very yummy. I ALWAYS get bored of buffet food after 2 nights... I didn’t! There was so much choice. Every night you had the Italian section, healthy bit and salads/tapas. Then they change the roast meat and main meals nightly. There was a chocolate fountain one night too! The service was brilliant, such friendly waiters. We didn’t eat in the 2 speciality restaurants in the end, as the choice was small and a lot of fish. But that didn’t bother us. The evening entertainment were singers, no “shows” but nice to just chill out and watch the sunset. We went to Puerto Colon for an evening out. Huge difference, that area is like Benidorm! Got a take there, took under 10 mins. But was a waste of time. The Duque shopping mall and area (where the Riu’s are) is very upmarket, renovated, attractive, with a mixture of high end shops and cheaper ones too. The mall takes about 10mins to walk to along the promenade. More
Excellent week in the sun
We spent a lot of time researching options for a family week in the sun, and this hotel proved to be ideal for us! We were specifically looking for a 5* hotel with excellent food, outside dining, not too big, and a relaxed atmosphere. The Riu Palace more than satisfied all of our requirements. In addition, the staff were excellent, everything was spotlessly clean, and the sea view from the outside dining area is simply stunning. At this price point, it would be hard to find a better hotel than this in the Canary Islands. Highly recommended!More
Riu Palace, Superb Hotel 👌🏼
Just returned from a week at this gorgeous Hotel, can’t fault anything about it. On arrival we received a nice cold glass of cava whilst we checked in, reception staff very welcoming and friendly, we arrived about 10pm and the chef had kindly prepared a cold buffet for us consisting of salads, breads, ham, cheeses etc very nice! Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, the cleaning maids do a great job at cleaning, they come in 2-3 times a day, brilliant service.. the hotel grounds are very well kept, swimming pools were cleaned everyday The food in the buffet restaurant was in abundance, lots to choose from and good quality food too! Lots of staff about when dining too, very friendly and very efficient! We ate at the Spanish restaurant which was a nice experience, we had tapas, Rib eye steak cooked at our table and churros and chocolate for dessert aswel as a palette cleanser Excellent Hotel, can’t wait to return in the future More
