Hotel Jardin Tropical
The Hotel Jardin Tropical's looking fresh after a top-to-toe refurb in 2017. Its highlights include a shorefront garden setting, à la carte dining options and grotto-style pools.
This hotel's made up of Moorish whitewashed buildings, which are set in colourful gardens faceing the Atlantic Ocean. It's got its own beach club a minute's walk away, too, with a saltwater pool and a smart sea-view restaurant.
Inside, this place has a luxurious, elegant feel. Standard rooms are dressed in chic white and jade tones and, for a little extra, you can fork out for a swanky stay in The Club*. This luxe upgrade means Nespresso™ coffee machines in your room, access to a swanky lounge and an exclusive zone on the sunset terrace.

The hotel facilities were excellent, the staff was very friendly and the location by the sea was espectacular.Found the half board a bit too pricy. I would recommend to have dinner out instead and enjoy the restaurant offer in Tenerife.More
Nice Hotel in a great location
Arrived at the hotel to discover that Parking was extra at 15 euros per day. Disappointing start. The initial room allocated to us was not acceptable – smelt of damp, the balcony window looked straight at the beach promenade at street level with hordes of people looking directly into the room; the clerk suggested we take an upgrade at €70.00 per night! We declined the rooms and the upgrade suggestion. The second room allocated was initially acceptable. It was on the third floor with a balcony which was split in two with one chair space either side of the block pillar! Asked if this was west facing and clerk confirmed it was but it turned out to be North facing! Oddly the room had two single beds pushed together. We had booked a standard double. The first night was sleepless due to the uncomfortable single beds but also the noise from the night entertainment as some sides of the hotel are open to the elements The room was located opposite lift and the housekeeping station.. Room staff started at 7:00am! No carpet in the corridor so we heard all the comings and goings during the night. The bathroom had no ventilator and by evening it smelt damp. After first night, the hotel made up the two single beds as a double using double sheets and blankets. Slightly better. We were told that only some junior suites have proper double beds otherwise its two single beds pushed together. After two nights the hotel moved us to a Club premier junior suite overlooking the car parking. Beds still two single beds made up a one double. This was a larger room but still with issues: USB socket don’t work, hairdryer cord not long enough. Lack of shower curtain but also the shower tray leaked. But it was a lot quieter and the corridor outside was carpeted. We had quieter nights and slept better. Overall it’s a nice hotel in a great location, nicely landscaped pool area and beach club but restaurants are expensive. There are not enough beds around the pool, encroaching on personal space. The Beach club didn’t have enough beds, and space was wasted with Balinese beds (extra charge) which were not used. Shame as ocean view location is fantastic but disappointing if you can’t get a bed to relax and enjoy it. Laura and Sonsoles from the Guest Experience Department were exceptional. They followed up and checked on us regularly and did everything to get us into a room were we could relax and enjoy our holiday. We would stay there again but insist on checking the allocated room out first before accepting it.More
Superbe, once again
What else can we add to all the positive that has already been written? More than 29 years after we spent our honeymoon here, we were here again for 19 days. And the hotel has once again given us that same feeling: very professional, stylish, very client friendly in everything and above all an excellent staff. We experienced this down to the smallest details. All this with beautiful rooms and a truly wonderful cuisine.... Jardin Tropical is still a first choice in Tenerife. Congratulations!More
From the moment you arrive at the Jardin Tropical, the service you receive is second to none. The hotel is beautiful, clean and immaculate in its appearance. The staff are all very polite and helpful. We had bed and breakfast although we never seen breakfast because we are night owls, but I did have a look inside the buffet restaurant and the food looked so beautiful and delicious with so much choice and variety, even a fussy eater would not complain about it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be a returning customer.More
Unique and Relaxed
On first sight Hotel Jardin Tropical immediately stands out from the various bland apartment blocks situated around Playa De las Americas and Costa Adeje with a large Moorish fortress appearance which states luxury. It is a welcoming, breezy and comfortable hotel with a 5 star vibe and spectacular sea views. Bedroom was sizable with an excellent bathroom, however air conditioning could have been colder and the supplied shower gel is unusual smelling. We did not try any of the on site restaurants while here, but the buffet breakfast was adequate with a good variety. Cooked to order omelettes and crepes the highlight. The hotel has two pools in different areas one heated and the other seawater. Both are served by pool service and surrounding bars and restaurants, all pricey but this is understandable given the quality. Location is another positive aspect of the hotel, it is situated well within walking distance of both the centre of Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas, and there are various restaurants within a few seconds walk of the back and front entrances.More
