GF Gran Costa Adeje
This chic hotel comes with four pools, two restaurants and the kind of interiors you’d normally see on a magazine cover.
This stylish hotel gives you the pick of four pools, including a rooftop number. The dining scene is special, too. There are two places to choose from, with special mention going to the grill à la carte.
The sports line-up includes tennis and squash, and there’s a sanctuary-like spa. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better – it’s on a hillside about a 5-minute walk from the centre of Costa Adeje and the beach.

2nd visit to this Hotel and still an exceptional all round Hotel
Visited February 2019 and was so impressed we went back again this February. We were a bit apprehensive this time as we arrived just 2 days after the island had an exceptionally extensive sand storm and the airport had only opened on our flight day. We expected lots of sand all about us but when we arrived at the Hotel no sand was evident they had worked very hard to clear up. This was not expected but was confirmation to us that the hotel had maintained the very high standards we had enjoyed the previous year. Everywhere inside and outside the Hotel, the food and staff in the restaurant are excellent, all the staff were friendly and went out of there way to smile and say hello. The reception staff are brilliant and very knowledgeable of the area and local transport. Last year we could not fault this hotel and this year they continue to excel in all areas. WELL DONE .More
fab time in January 2020

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the GF Gran Costa Adeje. From check in which was quick and efficient to our departure we could not fault this hotel in any way. The bedroom was spacious as was the bathroom. Plenty of wardrobe space for hanging clothes, shelves in the wardrobes. The safe was easy to programme and use. Without exception from check-in staff to room cleaning staff to bar staff to the people handing out the pool towels and the pool bar staff all were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant deserves special mention as not only was the variety of food at all meals quite exceptional, plus hot food was always hot, sometimes the plates were a little too hot to handle but there was a supply of small serviettes to hold the plates with. In all our years of travel this is the only hotel we have been to where we haven't had to pick up a plate or glass and return it because it had food stains or wasn't property clean. This really made a very big impression on us. The machines to dispense both the butter and jams were very clever and saved a lot of hassle. The coffee machines in the restaurant dispensed very good coffee and the fruit juices at breakfast were also of a very good quality. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional - as soon as we sat down at a table someone was there, either to ask what drinks we'd like, or if the table hadn't been relayed to relay it immediately for use. Clearing finished plates away was also immediate. This struck us as very well organised and the company had certainly trained their staff to a superb degree. The entertainment was better than any we had previously experienced in any hotel. This ranged from singers, instrumentalists, flamenco dancers and a magician. This is a large hotel with more than enough seating in the lounge area to watch the entertainment. The pool areas are also very large with loads of sunbeds and parasols. Definitely no need to reserve a sunbed as there was more than enough to go round. Small wooden tables by each sunbed. One of the pools was heated which was pleasant, the other pool wasn't heated, so up to the individual to pick which one they would feel happy in. Neither of the pools was deep, but certainly both were fine for swimming in, but not to dive into. The big bonus around the pool was it was quite quiet and the only major noise was when the animation team appeared for water aerobics. If music was playing in the background it was very quiet. Although the facilities in the hotel had to be closed by order of the Spanish Government for the last two days of our holiday the hotel did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible in the circumstances. We shall definitely return to this hotel.More
Early Spring break
We have just arrived back from a lovely holiday in this beautiful hotel, luckily before the flights shut down. The bedroom was spacious and immaculately clean. All staff Were very friendly and helpful. We were on B and B basis . As has been said the brekfasts were very good with lots of choice of everything and constantly being replenished. The fresh fruit was specially good. We ate in the buffet restaurant our first two nights but were disappointed. There appeared to bd e a lot of choice but seemed to consist mostly of vegetables and vegetable dishes. Yes,there was fish and meat being cooked but they did not look appetising these nights. I have to disagree with the two men's comments regarding the dress code. We commented on how the nights we were there the men were all smartly dressed with no shorts and smart shirts I don't think it is too much to expect the men to make an effort as all the ladies look smart with no beach type clothes. We loved the rooftop terrace - peaceful and comfortable. The evening entertainment was varied and good. We found the drinks quite expensive and unless specified, the more expensive one served ( for example the amaretto). There are plenty restaurants nearby with more choice and good value for money. The Italian restaurant across the road is excellent though slightly more expensive. All in all we would return for a relaxing holiday.More

I want to start by saying this is the best hotel I’ve stayed in. I’ve stayed AI in Mexico and this was much better. Rooms are a bit dated but think it is in keep with the ‘Vegas style’ hotel. Food is excellent with 2 meat and 2 fish cooked fresh on the grill every night. We were all inclusive, the drinks were branded with plenty choice. Waiter service was very good. I’m going to agree with the review below this about the dress code in the BUFFET Restaurant on an evening. I was turned away by a senior restaurant worker who I actually thought was quite rude for wearing tailored shorts. I returned to my room and put a pair of jeans on which weren’t as smart and I don’t agree with the policy. Another night, to prove a point I wore tracksuit bottoms, how can this be right!? Smart tailored shorts - no, but tracksuits yes?? The hotel I stayed in Mexico had a policy where it was smart shorts, a rule of no beach wear swim shorts which would be much better. The restaurant was hot, and I was uncomfortable in there some nights which kind of spoiled the experience. It’s 2020, and in line with the below comment you will come into a difficult situation with being sexist accusations if you keep this rule. I would/will return, but please don’t ignore this comment and just reply about the good things I’ve said, this policy really needs changing for the buffet restaurant on an evening. More
