Holidays to Costa Adeje are a cut above. The beaches have Blue Flags, the shopping comes with designer labels, and the hotels have luxury written all over them.
Cruise & Stay holidays to the resort of Costa Adeje on Tenerife offer a quieter and more refined experience than the nearby resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas.
With a warm climate year round and long stretches of sandy beach, it’s easy to understand why Tenerife is such a draw for those on a cruise holiday. But this volcanic island offers more than just relaxing breaks. Staying in Costa Adeje before or after a cruise is an excellent way to get out and discover the diverse landscapes of Tenerife. From coastlines to banana plantations, or tropical forests to aquatic gardens, there's no end of things to do and see on this Canary Island.
Expect charming waterfront restaurants and high-end hotels from Costa Adeje. Despite its proximity to livelier neighbours (which is great if a party night or two is on the cards), Costa Adeje plays it cool. Along with its sophisticated bars and quality restaurants offering delicious seafood, there's also a wide variety of international cuisine to suit all palates.
Visit Parque Nacional del Teide
A trip to Tenerife isn’t complete without visiting Parque Nacional del Teide. A 40-minute journey from Costa Adeje, it’s home to El Teide, Spain’s highest mountain. Enjoy the dramatic vistas from El Teide’s peak by hopping on a cable car for a leisurely journey to the summit. The surrounding parkland is crisscrossed with hiking trails, replete with rare flora and fauna thanks to the rich volcanic soil.
Discover La Laguna
For a glimpse into Tenerife’s colonial past, La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital, won’t disappoint. An hour away by car from Costa Adeje, ancient architecture can be admired in among the boutique shops. Don’t miss sampling traditional tapas and dining on fresh fish, a staple of the Canarian diet.
