Hotel Taurito Princess
This hotel comes with two big pools and a beach just outside. And evenings are all about live entertainment.
Tucked in a tranquil horseshoe bay, this place is just steps from a sandy beach. As such, all the rooms have views out over the ocean. Another big plus is the pool scene – there are two big pools here.
Meals come courtesy of the buffet restaurant, and there’s live entertainment every night of the week – everything from magicians to flamenco dancers. There’s a bar that’s good for cocktails, as well. When you're not staying put, the hotel lays on a free bus that'll get you to Puerto Mogan in 15 minutes.

Some winter sunshine
We have visited this hotel for last 5 years, for some winter sun and relaxation. We have always found it to be spotlessly clean and this year was no different. We upgraded our room to suite which was lovely and big but unfortunately noisy as it was half term, we had booked to avoid this but due to cancelled flights we ended up in the middle of busy week. Both pools were full of children on large inflatables and playing ball games. Selection of food was above average but we did have Asian 3 days in a row. We had paid to upgrade but this is not worth it, last year all drinks were included in the package this year there was a 3 tier drinks levy with top shelf brand of drinks not included. As part of package we were also allowed bottled wine and water at our table but we had to ask for this and some waitresses were quite rude or ignored us. Lifts were dangerous, doors closed too quickly. TUI rep’s were brilliant, available, cheery and helpful. Would recommend this hotel, but not for us next year.More
Architecturally a fairly standard layout but right on the seashore with its own sandy beach. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderfully helpful and cheerful. A nice touch is a grassed garden overlooking the sea which is a no-go area for loungers and towels. On the topic of loungers - there are signs stating that the placing of towels on sun beds is forbidden, but it is not enforced. :-( Buffet food of reasonable quality. Squash court and small gym. A couple of points about the village itself. We went by TUI bus and it took 3 hours to get from plane to room due to all the dropoffs on the way. You cannot walk anywhere else out of the village as there are cliffs on all sides. There is no long promenade for evening walks by the sea, all you can do is walk round the site. A plus for kiddies is the large water fun park which dominates the village.More
All rooms are wonderful sea views kept I was there for two weeks and found a good variety of food lots of vegetables salads fresh fish. Two nights a week there is grill night and Asia/ Italian night but you have to prebook it is free. To travel around utilise the local buses which are very cheap and air conditioned and on time and will get you around the island cheaply taxis are very expensive. The entertainment is good could do with some more live shows but family entertainment. There is a kids club but cannot speak on this as a pensioner and most kids were round the pool in the day. Coming onto the pools two one is freezing cold but refreshing the other is meant to be heated but feel this is not the case and kids inflatables ball games appear to take over this pool which I have to say did not like especially when there are notices around. My biggest fault was the pool bar where I saw glasses being ran under water in a sink then used again these should be going through a dishwasher especially with all the germs around. The beach is man made and if you what a sunbed it will cost 2.70 euros a day parasol are extra. The hotel does run a free bus daily to Puerto de Mogán due to the landslide this is well worth a visit especially on Friday when the market takes over the town. Finally nice to see you do not have to pay for a safe and fridge in the room free tea and coffee in room but no milk which will need to be requested. Overall a nice holiday and yes I would return .More
This was our second visit. excellent service and accommodation.. Staff very helpful. We had a super relaxing holiday and will be back next year. All rooms have great views, good selection of food to suit all tastes.More
Booked this holiday as our first winter sun, haven't been to the island for 25 years and didn't want the hustle of the big popular destinations in gc. Very pleased with what we've experienced from rooms, views and food. Cleanliness through out is top class.. Rooms are spacious and clean. The main restaurant is more than adequate for the majority of travellers. And if it isn't speak to them and they will go beyond to please. My wife's a coeliac and absolutely no issues at all. Heated pool in winter is gratefully excepted, pool side clean, toilets clean. As you've read it's hard to find a fault. If there is one, it's if your a young couple or group then your night life maybe a issue. Well done Princess on this hotel More
