Hotel Riu Palace Oasis
This hotel lines up a trio of pools that come hugged by a frame of palm trees. And, there's a beach right outside.
The Riu Palace Oasis is hard to beat on location. Turn right out of the gate and you’ll hit Meloneras promenade. Turn left, and you’re right on Maspalomas’ sizeable swathe of golden sand.
This place had a full refurbishment in 2018, so you'll find three brand new swimming pools, a new restaurant and a first-class spa in the mix. To top things off, the hotel's surrounded by acres of picture-perfect gardens.

My 70th birthday present
Most of the plaudits have already been printed so there is very little left to add. Often English 5 star ratings and Spanish equivilant leave a lot to be desired, however the RIU Oasis would be at home amongst Londons best hotels. Benefiting from a substantial re - furbishment it is in pristine condition in every aspect of its offering to customers. The staff again could easily work in an English 5 star hotel & improve the service there. The location, hotel grounds and astonishing food standards are well documented. A really classy touch was the two half bottles and one full bottle of cava sent to our room as a birthday present. This is one of the few hotels I will be returning to certainly next April & maybe prior to Christmas.More

OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT, FANTASTIC, SUPERB
Let me start my saying it is not very often I find a need to write a review, but on this occasion it is a must. Not only is the hotel of top quality but the staff are simply brilliant. From the moment we arrived Rafael provided us with a professional and courteous greeting, through to when in a time of need due to a back injury, Anneka and the other reception staff, helped, guided and reassured us in every way possible. This included numerous communications to our travel insurance company through to providing first class room service whilst I was immobile. Words cannot express our thanks for this amazing and professional support. Thankfully my injury occurred at the end of my holiday and prior to this we had been enjoying a truly magical and relaxing time. This was enhanced by the brilliant service and quality of food served at the promenade restaurant with waiters such as Miguel and Raul amongst many others providing a magnificent and proficient service. We received the same quality in the Krystal Fusion & Spanish restaurants which for anyone visiting the hotel we would highly recommend for a different ambience and experience. Our room was of a high standard and was extremely clean and maintained throughout our stay. Although it backed onto the road and was overseen by the occasional passer-by this did not cause us any problem. The offset was that you received sun on the terrace from 12 noon until almost sunset. I have read some negatives reviews about these rooms due to the location but as with any hotel if you want the best room with the best aspect then you need to upgrade appropriately. For us we believe the room provided us with everything we needed and easily matched the price we paid. As mentioned in other reviews, you do have to pay for a safe which was not an issue for us as we knew this before we travelled. I am not sure why other guests have reduced their rating because of this as it is optional and not something that has any bearing on the quality of the hotel. Similarly, some have made comment on the charge for bottles of water but if like us you stock up from the local supermarket this is easily addressed. The pools were all very clean with very few children present during our stay which made it very peaceful (not that we are adverse to children being present and having fun), but guess this would be different during the school holiday periods. There were always plenty of sunbeds to choose from and the waiter service was again first class and attentive to every need you had, whether for a sunshade to be opened or closed or for the purchase of a drink or snack. In finishing, there are very few superlatives left that I can use to describe this wonderful hotel and if you are questioning whether to book a holiday here, then don't, you will not be disappointed.More
Appreciation of excellent staff.
I recently stayed for 3 days at the riu palace oasis for a sad reason. My father who was on holidays there with my mother and a family friend was tragically drowned in the sea outside the hotel. I flew out to join my mother and her friend the following day after this tragedy . Needless to say my mother was traumatised. Without going into any more details about our trauma, I wish to compliment Annik and her staff for being so kind, compassionate and professional in these circumstances. My mother continues to sing their praises and found them , each and every one of them so kind. Annik took her under her wing immediately following the accident and looked after her.She accompanied her to the friend with whom she was travelling, phoned the insurance company and generally looked after everything that needed to be sorted on that fateful day. When I arrived out, I was treated so well and respectfully by all the staff and again couldn t say enough for them. I never write reviews but felt the need to acknowledge the excellence of the lovely staff at this lovely hotel. Thank you so much Annik( apologies if name is spelt incorrectly) and all the staff. Superb hotel, because of your amazing staff.
Everything about this hotel is amazing, rooms, pool, bars, entertainment & restaurants. The quality of produce & cooking was amazing. But your best asset is your amazing staff. All immaculately dressed. All polite & very professional, but welcoming & friendly. Attention to detail was great. I must single out the very tall waiter (sorry I did not get his name) who worked around the main pool & in outdoor theatre area in evenings. He never stopped moving & scanning customers to make sure people had what they wanted. Absolutely tireless, but always with a smile. He even remembered what we liked to drink. This guy is an absolute star, an asset to you & should be recognised for the way he works. We will definitely return.More
