We stayed at the Portur Safari Park for a family holiday 4 and 12 year old, and it was fantastic. The rooms were a good size and the balcony was big so plenty of room for the 4 of us. Plenty of sun loungers for all of the pools. The kids play park was brilliant. Trampolines, pool with slides, little fairground rides and a climbing frame and castle. The complex was huge! 3 restaurants on site we only went to the Tex Mex there was plenty of choice. There was loads of choice at the buffet restaurant. It's the first holiday that we haven't had to eat out on an all inclusive holiday. There were cleaners constantly cleaning, the place was spotless. We can't wait to go back.More
We had an adapted room with me being disabled which was lovely. The only thing I would say being truthful as a disabled person is the bathroom needs some more planning , towel rails closer to sink and shower and some non slip matting in shower. This would not stop me going to the hotel again as access around the hotel was brilliant and all staff very helpful and pleasantMore
Overwhelmed with our stay so much to see and do..
First class hotel nice and clean, so much to see and do on the complex and everything seems closed to hand, would imagine gets very busy in peak season but when we went early Oct was perfect for us. Food was amazing wasn't one day when we could not find something that we didn't like or couldn't eat.More
We stayed here for 10 nights in October just before the end of season. This hotel is absolutely brilliant and the protur animation team are unbelievable. We read lots of negative reviews before arriving but there wasnt anything we could fault. We usually go to lanzarote twice a year but fancied a change after visiting Sa Coma on honeymoon last august and stumbling across this hotel to play mini golf as its open to the public also. We have a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. The 5 year old lives for the mini clubs and discos which are great. Shes always made to feel so special. We usually find it hard to entertain the 3 year old whilst waiting for the mini club to finish but this hotel just has so much so do. They have play parks, 2 kids pools, a farm where you get the biggest bucket of animal feed for just 3 euros. Free bike hire was great and of course the mini golf which we played most days. They also have boats for 3 euros and motorbikes for 1 euro which he loved. The waterpark was closed but you are still allowed to go and use the sun beds and pools. The food is fantastic, both in the restaurant and outside in the grill area near the pool. We reccomend the Indian restaurant at night. It is across the road from the hotel and is a fully functioning restaurant open to the public but you have a choice of 6 restaurants to book within the week included in your stay. The food here was amazing. It rained for 3 days whilst we were there but the animation team went above and beyond setting lots of activities and games up in the main hall. Kept the music and dances going and everyones spirits lifted. Our 3 year old son took a shine to 'B' one of the animation ladies who made a fuss of him every day and our 5 year old daughter took a shine to Tom who was just amazing also. We have booked to return for 2 weeks in May 2020 and hope the same staff return as they just made our holiday fantastic. Thank you so much Brunella, Tom, Klaudia and everyone else. We hope to see you all again soon xxMore
Not worth the money!
Food ok, bar staff great, they work very hard as do the entertainment team, hotel clean, needs new bedding and a sink in the kitchen apartments, cleaning staff nice and polite, reception staff unhelpful and rude, i needed a glass of water as i felt I'll in reception, sat down a friend went over to ask as drinks machine out of order so couldn't get a bottle of water from there, they said no, even though they were told i was feel ill, so my friends went to get me some from our room, on her way another member of staff ran over with a bottle of water for which i was very grateful for thank you for than who ever you were, why couldn't the reception staff help me? We love Majorca, we and been to other hotels in the area, but would never go back to this one ever , not a 4 star hotel, was made to feel uncomfortable, all they are interested in is your tourist tax!
