Loved this hotel!!!
Right firstly I just want to point out that this is a ‘Family Hotel’ so any couples moaning about this place not being for them are morons and would have read at the time of booking this is ideal for family’s...I mean let’s face it, lots of swimming pools, kids club, kids activities and mini disco in the description kind of indicates this isn’t the ideal hotel for couples. Anyway, my honest review... When you arrive don’t forget to take money for your tax! For the 10 days we stayed it was about 67€ give or take. This place is massive! Anyone with little kiddies under 5 just keep closer watch as they might get lost. The rooms are lovely, modern and clean, they are literally a small 1 bed apartment which includes a microwave and a large fridge - most places I’ve stayed I’ve had to pay extra to rent a fridge! There is a safe which you can pay daily for but we didn’t bother, I always lock things away in my suitcase to be honest. The food was good, plenty to choose from including a kids food bar which was nice! Breakfast is always a winner for me, so much to have. Drinks are decent, husband had Estrella beer on tap!!! Was actual Fanta Orange and lemon too! Omg and the all inclusive ice creams was definitely AMAZING, the ice cream in lunch and dinner that you can scoop was so good! And the ice lollies were great, never have I been to a place that includes decent ice creams! Kids entertainment is good although my 2 year old was too little for the club bit in the day from TUI. But she loved the mini disco in the evening. So many pools to choose from and weren’t that cold...people just need to man up and jump in! The Paradise Park at the back was great, mini water park for the little ones and a playground. Trampolines near by and mini rides. La Reserva water park just opposite the rear entrance was amazing too! It’s open to public and half price to all inclusive holiday makers within this hotel. Only paid 30 euros for the 3 of us and it includes all food/drinks and ice creams all day!!! We went twice:) This hotel was fabulous and only 10 minute walk to the beach too with plenty of shops, restaurants if you fancy it. Definitely coming back next year!More
Great first family holiday
Myself and my wife and our 2 year old have just returned home from a week at the safari park aparthotel and we can’t complain about anything This was our first trip away as a family and our 2 year old found the journey out exciting but was tired by the time we got to the hotel (about 23.30 ). Check in was quick and trolleys were provided to move your luggage. The room was spacious and very modern and clean and a packed lunch was supplied along with bottled water in the fridge which was nice after a long journey. The pools were great and plenty of sun beds ( towels put on sun beds very early but. If you can’t beat them join them ), our son loved swimming and jumping in. The water was great and our son loved it but a 29 euro charge meant we only went twice. The bar was good with plenty of drinks included in the all inclusive and the ice creams available were great. The food was great with plenty on offer and the theme restaurants were good The entertainment staff were great and our son looked forward to the mini disco every night, the other entertainment was varied and was the sort of thing you expect when abroad. Overall would recommend this hotel to families and would visit againMore
Once hotel but.
Firstly I must say that the hotel is very nice and the staff are nearly all friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and spacious and generally quiet. In my opinion the food could be improved upon but I appreciate that when catering for so many it is difficult. Not impressed with the a la carte Italian where we thought the food was mediocre but it is nice to be served at your table. Although we were there at half term as long as you didn't want loungers by the front row of the pool you could always get some. So for comfort I would not criticise the hotel The major complaint which we had was that throughout the 7 days that we stayed of the 13 people in our party 9 had various stomach complaints. Now this may not have been down to the Hotel but these were spread from day 3 onwards with 4 of us being I'll on our final day. The hotel do have hand sanitizers throughout and I would urge people to use them. One of our party was an 11 month old baby who was off colour. When taken to the hotel doctor, €90 later the parents were told that he had an ear and throat infection and given a prescription for antibiotics. The baby did not improve and on our return was taken to his own doctor only to be told that it had not been an infection just a problem that could have been treated with calpol and the antibiotics had only antagonized the situation. So just beware of the doctor, maybe see one in the town. Unfortunately the various illnesses did put a dampener on a family holiday which we had been planning for over a year. We did report our problems to reception and were told that no one else had reported anything. Unfortunately we had an early flight the final morning so could not report that nights problems to our Tui rep. The only other negative is as previously mentioned by other people the cocktails are not the best and could be improved. More
Stayed here may 2018 with my 20 yr old daughter and 11 year old son. For the whole of the 2 weeks I didn't,t see my son as he was off doing every activity and luckily made so many friends. The food was nice and the rooms were lovely too. Everything you need was there. Entertainment .... there was something on every night for both kids and adults and the entertainment team were great. All inclusive ended at 11 and drinks were a bit expensive to buy but it was ok. If you have kids or not this well worth a visit.More
Family resort - big with a lot of activities
We returned from here 2 days ago and we really enjoyed our holiday. We travelled with 2 young children ( 3 and 6 years). The room was perfect- 2 couch beds for them and a separate bedroom for us. Very clean and maid service 5 days a week to dress beds etc. Lovely bright reception area. We found the choice of food very good. Always a large selection and plenty of it. A choice of about 4 adult pools and 2 kids pools. Pools could be busy enough and the usual rush in the morns with people putting towels down early and bagging the good spots. But you would always get a sunbed just perhaps not as close to pool as you might like. We enjoyed the jungle pool which was slightly quieter and kids playground and pool area with small slides was just a 2 minute walk out back gate. The water park is extra and only has 2 big adult slides but plenty for kids and nice pool bar. Very handy shops near by and less than 10 mins brings you to the beach. I would say this is definately a family resort and you might find it noisy if you didnt have kids yourself. Mini disco every night at 8.30 was a big hit. If your looking for a quite/small hotel then this may not be for you. But as a family resort with plenty of fun its very impressive.More
