Globales Santa Lucia
This beachside hotel had a fresh new look for summer 2018, it comes with great views, a sociable buffet restaurant and a cocktail bar*.
The hotel slices the coast between the beaches of Son Matias and Palma Nova, so there’s sand outside and sea views from every room. It’s 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of town, and less than 15 to Magaluf.
The good-sized pool looks out over the sandy beach, and it’s circled by thatched parasols. Food-wise, the buffet restaurant serves some great fish dishes, while a pair of bars covers cocktails and entertainment.

Don’t worry about the negativity written by a few others !!!! We have stayed in the Santa Lucia several times and my parents have been going there for over 25 yrs !! The upgrade to the Hotel is superb. Palma nova is our favourite part of the Island. We love the location of the hotel very central for beach shops bars etc and easy and cheap to travel via bus or a taxi to surrounding resorts. The hotel is spotlessly clean The room we stayed in was on 5th floor had has amazing views of the beach and Palma Nova bay. Beautiful and clean and the air conditioning worked well anytime required. Bathroom: theres plenty of hot water whatever time you had a bath the showers extremely powerful. Tv with some English channels but hey we are on holiday so ok. Tea/coffee & kettle. Beach/pool towels supplied too. Lovely housekeeping staff nothing to much trouble. The staff are all friendly and polite The food was good found something we liked every night to eat and we loved breakfasts such a great choice and we ate outside most days on the terrace. We didn’t bother with the big room and entertainment as we prefer the local bars especially the Orion bar opposite the Hotel thats just our choice. Our only issue was the selfishness of some of the people staying at the hotel!!! They would hog the sunbeds get up early and put there towels out on them then disappear for hours . It was always the same people each day that looked like pieces of old brown leather from the sun damage to their skins !!!! But you get these anywhere you stay. However the hotel say on a notice by the lifts that they wont tolerate people putting there towels out and disappearing but no one removes them !! However the Leather necks won’t stop us and we have already booked for next year.More

Had a fantastic holiday been back home a week now and already missing the place, food good so don't listen to bad reviews hoping to return in October if I can book into hotel, maybe book direct with hotel if possibleMore
We stayed half-board, but there is an all inclusive option. On arrival the man on the reception desk fitted us with “half-board wrist bands”, not the rubber removable type, but plastic fixed bracelets which you could not take off. In other words you were supposed to wear them at all times 24/7. Needless to say we had them cut off straight away, refusing to wear them. Why would half-board guests need to be identified by ridiculous white plastic bracelets? Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable. The rooms are modern with flat screen tv, fridge and tea and coffee facilities, and the beds are large and comfortable. Not too noisy. We had a good nights sleep every night. The bathrooms need some updating, unfortunately no walk in shower, the shower was over the bath and tricky to get in and out. With regard to the food, I have never seen such a large choice of food, which looked lovely but it was all tasteless. Entertainment: We didn’t bother with the entertainment but did overhear people commenting that it was pretty poor. Sun beds and pool area: queues to “bag” sun beds started at around 7.45 ready for doors to open at 8.00am, no sun beds available throughout the day as towels were left on them all day. Drinks were expensive at this hotel and quite small measures. The hotel is in a lovely location.More
Do not worry if you are about to holiday at this hotel we are into our 7th day with 7 to go the food we can find plenty of choices people moaning about it being cold it is warm cannot be too hot or it all dries up and then they would moan .Hotel lovely and clean very friendly and helpful staff.Tui reps excellent, animation team friendly and not bothering you if you do not want to participate, Evening entertainment bingo followed by a show singers are good I have seen a lot worse arrive and enjoy your holidaysMore
Nice location and beautiful views. Not much atmosphere unless bingo was your thing between 9 and 10🤷♀️! Food was shocking!! Luke warm, tasteless and certainly not 4 star standard. Don’t bother mentioning to the TUI rep who will only give a rattle off about a new chef and better menu blah blah blah and she ate here daily and thought it was lovely👏! Lots of pretentious people on package holidays( like we were) however must of believed they were upper class or something🙄! Glass on balcony not cleaned the entire week we stayed and mirrors cleaned with a dirty cloth so smeared obviously. Room smelt of stale cigarette smoke which met us as soon as we unlocked the door! Yuk!! Lots of smokers in a close proximity pool area so for us non smokers it’s quite disgusting. Expensive at the pool bar for half board guests also. Reception area and corridors are the best bit of this place! More
