Perfect for families
Amazing holiday for kids. Wouldn't reccomend for couples without kids. We went mid September with a 3 and 1 year old. Our Room was very clean and spacious, in block 3.(which is furthest away from the evening entertainment, so nice and quiet). Our 3 year old was in a sofa bed in the lounge, which we turned against the wall so he couldn't fall out. And our 1 year old had a travel cot in our room. Plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Balcony looked out over cala millor and we could see the sea which was lovely. Massive villa behind had the usual dogs barking, but couldn't hear them when the door was shut thankfully. Eating took a couple of days to get into the swing of things as there is so much choice. Something for everyone. Beer and wine and all other drinks are all help yourself. Beer is Estrella. Kids club was really good and staff are all brilliant. Considering they had been doing it all summer, they were still so enthusiastic and had amazing energy at the evening entertainment which catered for all ages. Its not cheesy at all. Really high standard. Amazing dancing and singing and they have outside people come in to do the adult shows. Free regular shuttle to the beach is brilliant, as the driver has the music (from the evening entertainment) loud so it was like a party bus, which our 3 year old loved. You soon learn the songs on the holiday. ONLY negative and the main disappointment was the kids pool was freezing! Such a shame as it made it barely usable. Definitely not enjoyable being so cold. Amazing all inclusive and would definitely reccomend. More
Freezing pools sickness stinking smelling room shocking cleaners
Was really exited for this trip when we arrived was impressed with it all we had requested a quiet room due to having a one year old Had lunch it was not the worst had dinner it was also not the worst 2 days in our baby got really sick this has never happened before had to get the doctor and had a few visits and he said only give toast for few days and half his usual bottle with a lot off meds I had to go pharmacy at 1am and the reception was asking doctor was it the polo making him sick I presume this is chicken in Spanish so he was sick 2-3 days and would not eat a thing then after me and my wife were ill after the rubbery chicken curry at dinner time for 2 days we reported this tui reps or reception were just palming us off but it did keep us in room for a good few days. The pools are all cold maybe the time off year though there is lots and lots and lots off blow up floats in the pools also never had any issues with getting a lounger though Staff in restaurants were 1st class always smiling and talking to our son and they very rarely put bananas out but our child loves them and when we asked the staff would run away and get us them for Him was really 1st. Class service Bar only I believe 4 cocktails in the all inclusive menus u could have yet there is a massive list But all chargeable The orange Fanta tastes like no orange Fanta I have ever tasted rank rotten that is always our choice off soft drink abroad Travelling with a small child year is not easy as use will probably know they get up early yet the breakfast only opens at 8am so if you are like us you will need to try everything to stop your kid eating for a good hour and a half due to this for a hotel aimed at children this does not suit kids in my opinion Also the dinner 6.30 there was big cues at this time to get in due to kids being starving and wanting to get to the show this could be 5,30 or even 6 opening to help the kids The burgers in bar and hot dogs are 100% the worst I have ever tried in my life how they expect anyone to eat that is unreal The NOISE We were given a quiet room Directly above the Italian So basically right next to the Entertainment witch was booming till 11 everyday and there were wedding on with booming music till 12 this is not suitable for younger kids who go to bed early The entertainment did seem good although we never saw much atfter 8ish we hear it the team work hard and the kids love them The girls in the crèche are brilliant the 12-12.30 time for stay and play is good to get your child left without you he loved it and we had 5 sessions and he loved itMore
First time visiting a holiday village
Great for the kids but u fortunately it stops there. The entertainment is a 3 out of 10 past 8:45 when the mini disco ends. The HV team do try their best but bringing in regular outside would most defiantly benefit this resort. The HV team are brilliant through the day with all ages of kids & I’d give them a 10 out of 10. Drinking out of a paper cup that goes soggier than a straw thats been in a McDonald’s milkshake for 7 days isn’t the best. Pe-misted Cocktails have almost zero Alcohol in them, so you have to ask for an extra shot in every one. Alcoholic drinks 4 out of 10 - coffee 1 out of 10 ? The food is good & the deserts looks amazing but taste like ....! Food 7 out of 10. All the staff are very helpful & cant do enough to assist you but unfortunately I’d say this resort is over priced and lacks that extra zing for a family holiday that’s only once a year. More
Terrible stay, checked out early!
I stayed here with my wife & 2 year old child in September 2019, it was a bad experience from the start. Our room was on the 4th floor, when we arrived we noticed that although there was supposed to be a sofa bed in the apartment there was just a sofa with a bed sheet on it. It was totally unsuitable for a 2 year old child & even worse was the fact that the balcony door did not have a lock on it so my son could have quite easily got out onto a 4th floor balcony without us knowing! As a result our son had to sleep in the bedroom with us, in 2 single beds pushed together that would separate during the night. The beds & pillows were terrible & caused us neck & back pain. It was constantly noisy from other apartments during the day & night. The rest of the apartment was tired & dirty (sofa cushions stained, mould in the bathroom, bathroom extraction vents caked in dust). Housekeeping do not clean the room one day a week which is not good enough for a 4* hotel. When they did clean, rubbish was not picked up or bins not emptied. The shower would constantly go hot & then cold when in use and the bathroom floor flooded due to a shower screen that was too small. Our view from our balcony was a muddy field & a building site which wasn’t what we were expecting. The food was some of the worst food I have ever had in a hotel, it is definitely not what you would expect from a 4* hotel. The breakfast was average but it went downhill rapidly after that. Lunch was tasteless batch cooked buffet food in either restaurant or alternatively there were doner kebabs, cheap burgers or even worse hotdogs. The dinner was the same quality & variety as lunch but busier as the hotel was full so there would be a queue when the restaurant opened & people would rush in like feeding time at the zoo. My wife & I tried the food for several days and we both hated it, my son did not want to eat anything & usually he is a very good eater . As a result we ate out for the majority of the time which made the all inclusive a complete waste of time. The bars were all pleasant, even if a bit basic, however the selection of alcoholic drinks was terrible ( 1 lager, no choice of wine, either red or white vinegar). We partly booked this hotel because of the range of swimming pools for my son, however again these were a massive disappointment. The 2 kids splash pools were absolutely freezing & we had to take my son out of them after 10-15 minutes as he was going blue & shivering constantly. The adults pools were substantially warmer than the pools designed for the kids! Fortunately there is a good beach in Cala Millor just down the road. The swimming pools were massively overcrowded & if you did not put your towels down by 10 am there were no sun loungers left. After enduring 5 days of utter misery we looked at alternative hotels & even the option of flying home early as we were so disappointed. In the end we decided to make the most of our last few days & found a nice hotel in Cala Millor which we paid for at our own cost & checked out immediately. As soon as we moved hotel everything improved & we enjoyed the rest of our holiday. I feel we were vastly overcharged, nearly £1900 for a week, this is because, In my opinion this is nowhere near a 4* hotel & I would strongly advise against staying here unless you want to be left frustrated, angry, hungry & sleep deprived!More
Great family holiday
A good hotel, great set up if you have kids but with adult areas that are peaceful. Our lil boy loved kids club, no mean feat as he still cries at nursery. Food in the main restaurant was great, they had a tomohawk steak night! How they can afforded all you can eat huge and I mean huge steaks I don’t know. Not tired the Indian yet but the Italian was good, but didn’t enjoy the Asian, if you can’t get into them all skip that one. Close second to holiday village Rhodes but that was a 5start hotel this is 4 so it should be second.More
