You’ve got something for everyone with holidays to Cala Millor. There’s a sandy beach with watersports, and beach bars and clubs that ensure there's never a dull moment.
Cala Millor simply means ‘Better Bay’, and that’s exactly what you can expect from a Cruise & Stay holiday to this resort with its own beautiful curved sandy beach.
Everything in one place
Situated on the east coast of Majorca, Cala Millor is about an hour’s drive from Palma. Behind the sandy stretch of seashore is a bustling pedestrianised town where souvenir shops, bars and restaurants are found. Cala Millor is a large but compact resort so there’s plenty of choice when it comes to activities, all within easy reach.
An east coast seaside gem
A highlight of Cala Millor is the two-kilometre sandy beach, lined with a palm-fringed promenade for seaside strolls. Complimentary beach volleyball and football games are set up in the high season and friendly competitions add to the lively, fun-filled atmosphere. The enticing crystal-clear water is perfect for watersports. So, enrol in a windsurfing or sailing lesson, or try paddle boarding, paragliding or diving for an aquatic adventure.
Hiking and biking
There are several hiking trails starting from Cala Millor. One of the more popular routes is to Na Penyal, a hill just half an hour’s walk away, where far reaching views of the whole coast can be enjoyed. Don’t forget to pick up supplies in the town and take a picnic for a leisurely lunch before the return journey downhill. Or hire a bike and cycle the length of the promenade, which has a dedicated bike path linking Cala Bona to the north and Sa Coma to the south.
The beach is dotted with sun shades to shelter little ones from the Balearic sunshine. The calm water is ideal for families looking to spend a day by the beach paddling in the sea and building sandcastles. Kids also enjoy the mini-train that journeys up and down the coastline between Cala Millor, Cala Bona, S’illot and Sa Coma in the summer.
