This was our second visit here, after a recommendation by family, would definitely recommend to others, everything about this hotel was spot on,from the food, cleanliness etc,on arrival we were greeted by reception staff with a glass of fizz or orange juice, the rest of the staff were very friendly,Natalie the entertainment organizer worked tirelessly,Jose and Manu the bar staff made you feel like they were a couple of friends.More
Here are the reasons for giving this hotel a 3 star rating. Arriving about 1am the man on reception forgot to tell us the kitchen put out food and drink in the restaurant. So we walked around the streets trying to find somewhere to eat but everywhere was closed. Returned to the hotel to ask if there was anywhere to get a drink as this is the only 4 star hotel that doesn't put a comp drink in your room on arrival. We then found the food by accident. Man on reception then said sorry as he forgot. My 2nd point. Bedding only changed every 4 days. Unreal for a 4 star hotel. But room is cleaned every day and towels are changed. My 3rd thing is table water with your evening meal is not free. It's free in the gym . Free with breakfast but not with your evening meal. I have never ever herd of this and a complete rip off to customers. Now the plus points. Room was very nice . Beds are very comfy and tv was good. Good hairdryer and you pay 2 euros a day for the safe a good fridge for soft drinks etc. The food here is 5 star all the way. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The sun Beds are two sizes and lots of brollys to keep you in the shade. Pool is a good size plus there is one of the roof. 5 door. Towels are 15 euros which u get back and can change 4 times a week. I enjoyed the daytime entertainment. Didn't buy the drinks as went to the shop as couldn't believe the water charge. The hotel is a good 3 star but not a four. It's in a perfect place and is very quiet as an adult only . They also brought 2 glasses of champagne and made the Mrs a cake for her birthday which was very good. All staff were very friendly and tried to make the stay as enjoyable as they can. We met lots of lovely people and had a nice stay. A massive that's to to all the cooks here. Fantastic food . Would we stay here again...... maybe. More
After a quick flight from Glasgow only to arrive at the chaos of Palma Airport and late arrival of luggage and then Tui Reps unable to initially find coach for our hotel. When coach was identified, it felt as if we had caused the delay and the coach lot even before we were seated. Tut must be able to arrange the transport after all this time. However, that was the end of any negativity. On arrival at Bonamar we were met with hugs and kisses from Natalie as if we had only been gone a week. Check in was quick and allocated room of request on 510, overlooking the pool. Fairly compact room but adequate and maintained by a hard working staff. There followed a week of hot sun at the poolside with plenty of sunbeds, with Natalie taking the usual games and quizzes. Restaurant and bar staff were also welcoming and recognised us. The meals were varied throughout the week, with an outdoor BBQ on Thursdays. This doesn't mean that newcomers were treated any differently and on occasions made more than welcome. Night time entertainment was again of the usual mixture of tribute acts and individual guests. Another excellent week's holiday and, hopefully, a return in the future.More

Disappointing end to a holiday
We stayed in the Bonamar for what was a pleasant week, up until our last night. We had been looking forward to seeing the comedian George Pena, who was at the hotel on Wednesday the 7th August, as we had seen him before and loved what he did. George did a fantastic show-however, towards the end we were left confused as to why the entertainment girl, Natalie, I believe, seemed to want him to come off stage one hour before the bar shut. At 11.00 all the house lights came on, and we all started to feel uncomfortable as she came on the stage to berate George for apparently ‘going over time’, even though there was still an hour before closing. There was some altercation with the bar staff and Natalie which made the end of the night awkward and uncomfortable-we we’re enjoying the night, and didn’t understand what was going on. In conclusion, we thought that the entertainment girl behaved appallingly and ruined a really good night-on previous nights we hadn’t really warmed to her, but on the last night she came across as very arrogant towards the act, almost like she wanted to go home early. We love entertainment, it’s the main part of our holiday. We’ll give the Alicia a try next time, on account of that girl.More
