Ah’ll be back...
Visited the Bonamar for a weeks holiday half board... The hotel is first class rated at 4 star and easily meets the rating.. The rooms are excellent and the cleaning service is exceptional with 7 day service.. The reception staff are friendly and helpful ... The restaurant is bright clean with first class food and staff... The main pool is in sun all day and offers a great spot to pick up your tan but for me it was always The infinity pool on the fifth floor with the very best sun beds I’ve ever used and again pool is in full sun all day... The indoor pool and gym are also well catered for .. The hotel location is excellent being midway between Cala bona and Cala Millor .. Each a ten minute stroll away...More
Booked a last minute deal. What a beautiful hotel the pool are is beautiful. Rooms clean & perfectly formed. Love the breakfast but not overly happy with the evening meal but overall an absolutely super place to stay. More
As returning guests, we were greeted with a warm reception by Manager and staff as indeed all other rivals were. This is a very well run hotel with comfortable modern rooms, excellent staff, good food. Everywhere is spotless inside and out. Large fridge available in room - extra charge for use of safety deposit box and hiring pool towels. We upgraded to a top floor sea view room which is worth the extra cost. Not sure if the 'glass' bathroom would suit everyone, OK if you are related, but if you are sharing, it might compromise privacy slightly. Large dining room which caters for all tastes. Food is of a good quality and selection. At breakfast you can choose where you want to sit, evening meal (two sittings) you have an allocated table for the duration of your stay. We feel the evening sitting finishes too late. It would appear that the hotel has now relaxed the dress code in the evening and men can now wear shorts. The pools remain freezing, so no improvement there. Bar service to roof top pool is almost non existent, and could be addressed. Plenty of comfortable sun beds. Entertainment not wonderful, but you can always go to other nearby establishments of your choice. Hotel is in an excellent location, mid distance between Cala Bona and Cala Millor. Promenade right outside door, so easy flat walking and for people watching. More
