Excellent hotel, excellent location....let down by poor evening food offer IMO.
Good bits. Large quite plush hotel. Spotlessly clean. Excellent large choice breakfast. Excellent pool area. Large amount of sun beds. Excellent location for 2 resorts within minutes. Karl protur rep excellent. Polite and positive but quit on our second week lol. Good luck. Picky bits. 108 euros tourism tax ( 3 adults) not the hotels fault but still a whack. Reception efficient but quite stuffy. Some reception staff hardly spoke English ( 99% British clientele) Had to wait 20 minutes after booking in at reception room not ready? Unacceptable. Matrass on second bed( larger room) 3 inches thick like sleeping on concrete. After initial am request for another matrass to go on top had to basically demand it 8 hours later. Worst bit which would stop me staying here again. Lots of reviews state how excellent the evening food is...that's fine if you love pork, pork chops, lamb chops basically every night....along with chicken breast (4 mm thick) or beef steaks(3 mm thick). Couple of nights roast beef/ gravy great! but no potatoes lol. Other delights on offer were rabbit and one night suckling pig not cut off the spit but in a hot plate looking as dry as a camels hoof. I'm not being fussy we just got the impression that austerity is hitting the evening meal offer as it seems pretty tight and the fact that when we stopped at the protur Bonamar down the road a couple of years ago it was an excellent food offer is confusing. Best food offer is BBQ night decent size steak and Sarah's. One night we walked in for our meal and walked straight out again and visited a local eatery.More
Could not recommend highly enough
This is an amazingly relaxing hotel for older people who want a quiet time. We are in our early fifties and were on the younger end of the spectrum. However, we could not have been happier. We were here last year and rebooked this year because we loved it so much. Rooms are spotless, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food offers something for everyone. We would be more than happy to holiday here every year. Oskar in the bar/lunch area is wonderful. Xenia (not sure I’m spelling her name correctly) is amazingly cheerful and a fabulous cook. I am aware that I am repeating adjectives and adverbs here, but the hotel deserves all superlatives.More
Had the most amazing week away without the kids
Stayed here for a week in Aug just on our last evening. We have been well looked after from start to finish. We stayed on 5th floor with a sea view room. Room was amazing with sea view right from the Bed just perfect. We were half board but don't eat breakfast so can't comment however we are really fussy with food and our plan was to have a try first night with a view to going out to eat. We got to pick our table for the week and the food was beautiful there was something for everyone. The staff including the chefs were so friendly and went out of their way to make your visit special. We received complimentary bubbly on the last night which was a lovely touch. The only thing I would say was the sunbed situation....so here it is....The main pool is in shade until lunch however the roof top opens around 7.45 with the sunshine already on it. The heat on roof in summer is way too hot even for us sun worshippers we ended up having to come in as the actual beds heated up and burned you if your skin touched it. The infinity pool was fine until our last day when even that didn't cool us down but there are no sunloungers by the bottom pool as they are all taken. So you either sit in shade all morning and wait for the sun or roast to death on the roof lol. We will definitely return as it's been the most amazing experience. More
The hotel was amazing! The staff were all welcoming and as you enter you are welcomed with a refreshing drink! Rooms are outstanding! Very modern. Only thing that let us down was the location of the room, looking over the entertainment and pool instead of a sea view, however it didn't ruin our holiday as we didn't spend much time in our room. Of an evening, we could have a lovely walk either around Cala Bona or Cala Millor, filled with lovely shops! The location of the hotel is right on the sea front, which was useful as their wasn't much of a walk to the beach. All staff were lovely! Especially the restaurant staff and reception staff. On our last night we were greeted to a lovely glass of champagne! 🍾 Would definitely recommend to adults 16+. The terrace with the infinity pool was definitely the best bit! Of an evening after our stroll along the sea front, we could relax with a drink, looking out to sea, away from the entertainment downstairs. The roof terrace was very quiet and peaceful and will definitely miss it! Lovely hotel and staff ❤️More
2 week stay
We stayed for 2 weeks from 3rd August. Our first week we had our son and partner and sister and husband staying too, second week on our own. It’s our third time here but previous stays were only 3 or 4 nights at end of a cruise. The hotel is a fabulous, modern hotel. It is kept spotlessly clean everywhere. The housekeeping staff are incredible. Each and every member of staff were friendly, warm and very efficient. Our room was on the second floor (203) with incredible sea views (see photos). The food at both breakfast and dinner was wonderful with a huge choice of dishes. The Thursday bbq night was fab with mouth watering steaks. The a la Carte restaurant (Sarah’s), which you could visit once during your stay was lovely and relaxed. The pools were fab, with the rooftop infinity pool being our preferred one which had lovely sea views. Our room was fabulous with a very comfortable bed and great sized balcony and kept spotlessly clean. The hotel is perfectly located with bars and restaurants all at easy walking distance. We will definitely be back to this wonderful hotelMore
