Happy Holidays !!!!
Well, this was our 5th visit back to this wonderful Hotel. The rooms are of a good size, the restaurant is excellent and the Staff always willing to help. My Parents also go (8th visit) late September as it is quieter in the resort which is more suited to their age. We’ve had some fantastic holidays here and made many Friends. The only reason for not going back at the moment, it’s time to show our Children more of Europe & the World. You will not be disappointed. Great times, great food, spotlessly clean, very chilled, ideal location. Personally, I have travelled a lot before starting a Family, I can honestly say, you will not get better value for money than the Cala Bona. Thanks all for some awesome memories xx Tasha & FamilyMore
Came to this hotel, if you can call it a hotel a couple of years ago. We were put in a block way down the road from the main hotel. Room was awful, dated musty smelling with no basic tea or coffee facilities. Breakfast and dinner you have to sit at the same table whether you like it or not, they insist you pay for drinks as soon as they bring them over, nice if your eating and have to handle dirty coins or notes at your table, just not on. Pool area is cramped with too many people in such a small vinicity. The only people that seem to come back are the regular blue rinse brigade that get preferential treatment especially with the booking and where they stay, ie the main block of the hotel, not 500 metres down the road. Please avoid avoid avoid.More
Cala Bona Hotel
10 days at this hotel in Majorca was excellent. Ideal for elderly couples. A very good choice of food for the British tourist. Situated overlooking Cala Bona Harbour handy for day trips on boats to other harbours. A very nice prom stretching for a few miles to Cala Millor with plenty of choice for hiring bikes or mobility scooters on purpose made tracks along the Prom. Plenty of beach locations and eating establishments overlooking the sea. Very enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The hotel has its own pool and loungers.More
Went here with my husband for my 50th Birthday. Loved this place. Beautiful setting looking out to the harbour, lovely friendly staff and spotlessly clean. We booked a room with a view which I would highly advise. Only superior rooms come with a kettle etc for tea/coffee so bring your own travel kettle and cups. There is a great little cheap supermarket at the back of the hotel where you can buy coffee etc, long life milk (no fridge in rooms). This hotel is half board and doesn't include drinks. Tea/coffee juices etc included with breakfast but nothing is included with evening meal (including water which is €2.50 per bottle). You are assigned a table when you arrive which is yours for the duration of your stay. Great idea, you don't have to wander looking for a table each time and you get to know other guests at the tables near you. Food is varied and plentiful and was always delicious. You can go to the bar during the day to purchase lunch which again is varied, good and cheaper than a lot of the other places in Cala Bona. Entertainment is on every night and is really good. We don't usually do hotel entertainment but we did here. Just such a good atmosphere in this hotel and the staff were always happy and smiling. This is the first hotel that has stood out enough for us to want to return, which we are doing next year.More
We stayed at Hotel Cala Bona 13th--20th October, and the weather was really good for our stay apart from a terrific thunderstorm on monday evening. My birthday was on the monday and when we got back to our room in the afternoon there was a bottle of champagne and a plate of strawberries with a birthday card on the dressing table. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels when requested, the only thing missing was some drawer space. A kettle is provided ,but only tea, coffee etc for first day,but we had looked this up beforehand so was not a problem. All the staff were polite and helpful. Food was good with plenty of choice. There was entertainment in the block across the street from our block and it became pretty busy, the comedian was quite funny and a couple of the groups were ok, but one night was West Life tribute another a Drifters tribute and a Mowtown night none of which interested me.More
