Lovely hotel in great location - room 709 amazing views .
Never been to this area before, researched for weeks on every site I could think of - eventually we booked, stayed 10 nights.... enjoyed it so much would like to go back as it was all even better when we got there ! We were on floor 7 the very top floor of the main block and as there are only 3 rooms facing the sea on very the top floor these 3 rooms are larger than the normal double rooms 709 is the middle room superb sunrise directly opposite us , golden sky and the silhouette on the sea ...just amazing. Hotel : Main block is 7 floors , two small lifts just inside hotel entrance ,wide spiral type staircase & ramps everywhere if required. Reception to left of main entrance Lobby area to the right and corridor down to the Annex building - all very clean and very modern minimalist style decor . Evening Bar/Lounge area straight ahead comfortable seating here with smart outside Terrace area . Restaurant: this is down one floor, we thought food selection and quality was excellent at morning & evening buffet, very warm inside but there is outside Terrace area with lovely pool and sea views . Tables are just too close together , really close , but around 7.30pm less busy so more tables to choose from. There is another small restaurant you can book to eat in ,Ole , but we didn't. Pool bar eating area is smart with lovely views down towards pool & the sea. Pool area : pool good size, lots of sunloungers, quite basic & put close together but light enough to move around so you can follow the sun! Sun for longer on right side of pool area as you look towards main block ( with beach behind you ) White plastic chairs stacked near Annex rooms by the pool great if you rather sit & not lie on a sun bed. Waiter service at pool for drinks. The Gym area , jacuzzi & indoor pool is in basement of the Annex building. I had quick look around Annex but I prefer any sea facing room in the main block . Annex has ground floor rooms plus another 3 floors but they get no sun, some rooms face pool some have good side sea views. Front rooms of Annex have direct full sea views , get sun , some are suites . The other side of the Annex which faces towards the Marina area do get afternoon / late sun but many are directly opposite the very large hotel opposite and a side road. Hotel Location : perfect! - exit gate is near pool area straight on to wide promenade - turn right it's short stroll to Benalmadena marina or turn left walk along prom to cafes, restaurants , shops....Torremolinos area nicer than I expected ....walk up side street to find lovely narrow cobbled street full of shops and cafes restaurants. This is a lovely Adult only hotel and we would love to go back ! If you need room number info - Main block is where we stayed 7 floors here : rooms 1- 7 are on right side of hotel looking from main front entrance top floors get late sun but some have tall hotel opposite and near a side road, 4 rooms at back of main block rooms 8 - 11 these are all sea facing have full sea views and sun , rooms to the left of the main hotel front entrance are rooms 9 - 18 no sun ,some overlook apartments & another hotel . Rooms 1 ....& 18 ..... are the rooms located nearest to front main entrance , so closest to lifts and stairs. Top floors on any side would probably have best views . Not too sure of Annex room numbers but there are 4 floors rooms start at room 19 which is sort of in line with hotel main front entrance but rooms starting at room 19 look out onto the side road and tall Timor hotel opposite , there are 4 front sea facing rooms on each floor , the annex rooms end at room 64 which is again near hotels main front entrance but these high number rooms are almost adjacent to front side of the main hotel block and a garden area. People enjoy all different types of rooms so research it and enjoy - it's a very lovely quiet hotel in a great location .More

We stayed for two weeks the rooms are good kept clean ,there is no tea making facilities but we took our own plus there is a bar across the road called Hennis brilliant got everything you need . There is a gym but it does need a bit of rr treatment from the maintenance especially the cross trainer as it sounds like a rock in side it !! The food is good but to be fare we did get bored some nights so we went across the road to a bar called Hennis brilliant the proprietors could not to enough for you . The swimming pool inside was good but outside pool was just a bit cold to use . We used the train a lot to get around which was so easy to use the English button is in the left corner of the screen plus there is lots of buses and also good trips arranged by TUI again we enjoyed all ,would come back again . Thank you to all the staff and the Hennis bar across the road thank you !!!!!More
Very relaxing hotel
Just returned from a four week stay at the Nautilus. It was an extremely relaxing holiday. We have never stayed at an adult only hotel but after this stay we will definitely be looking for adult only in the future. The hotel was excellent. Food was superb. Room was clean and modern and plenty of tv channels in English. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of sun beds for everyone. Outdoor pool very cold but the indoor pool was just lovely. The location was good. Right on the beach and close to a main bus stop to explore the area. All in all an excellent choice of hotel if you want to relax in comfort. Oh forgot to mention the entertainment. It was the best entertainment we have had in a Spanish hotel.More

Quality, relaxing break
We’ve just arrived back from another fabulous visit to the Riu Nautilus in Torremolinos. Situated at the far end of Torremolinos close to Benalmadena and its beautiful marina. The long promenade walks and easy transport access to other places by taxi, bus or train are other reasons for this being one of the best choices along this area. There is no road between the hotel and the beach and therefore no traffic noise or smelly exhaust fumes. Just total relaxation in the hotel grounds and no annoying piped music. The view of the sunrise from the beach side of the hotel is stunning and well worth getting up early for. The location, quality of the accommodation and the friendliness of the staff in the Riu is what attracts us and once again, on what was probably our 6th visit, we were not disappointed. The food is very good (although maybe not quite as good as previous years when I would have described it as excellent). The staff are polite and quick to respond to any requests you might have. The restaurant staff work very efficiently in the background but do not hover over you or whip your plate away before you’ve finished (like in some other hotels) - they just appear when needed - thank you Pedro. One particular staff member that deserves a special mention is Rocco - she is always on the go and has a permanent smile (whatever she is doing) - it’s infectious and a lovely sight to start the day. t’s probably fair to say that the majority of guests are in the ‘mature’ age range so if you’re looking for disco music and parties then this is not for you otherwise I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The fact that it’s ‘adults only’ is a bonus. We will return.More
