Vincci Seleccion Estrella del Mar
This chic hotel has a great pool scene just steps from the beach. And then there’s the beach club, complete with spa.
This stylish hotel is just a couple of minutes’ walk from one of Marbella’s best beaches. It’s got three big pools back at base and two more at the nearby beach club which you can use for a bit extra.
Food-wise, there are two restaurants – a buffet and an à la carte. Both serve international dishes with a Mediterranean twist. Plus there’s a wine bar which sometimes hosts live music as well as a pool bar.

If you book thru booking.com you will get a clostrophobic room at -1 Floor
I booked thru booking.com and I guess I paid low price so therefore I stayed in room 2101 in -1 floor, a clostrophobic room looking a wall at the side of the hotel, this room should not be used as guest room!More
The food is buffet style but is excellent different every single night with great choices from salads to fresh tuna and steak.. so much to choose from at breakfast.. staff are very attentive weather the restaurant or by the pool they cannot do enough for you..More
Lovely hotel , amazing staff , very relaxed and quite , nothing much around so make sure you have a car or take taxis Breakfast very vast options but not brilliant Drinks by pool expensive All in all nice place rooms very large and lots of space More
Beautiful hotel but not 5 star
This is our second visit to this hotel. The hotel is beautiful. The room is beautiful. The pools are beautiful. However the staff do not make you feel very welcome. The breakfast is lovely but we prefer to eat in the restaurants in Elviria. The reason for this is because there are some restaurants in Elviria where the food is what you expect from a 5 star hotel. The food in the hotel is what you would expect from an average restaurant. When you pay for a 5 star hotel you expect to be treated a little bit special but no chance at this hotel. I’d give it a 3, possibly 4 star on a good day. Will we be going again next year. Doubt itMore
Passable 5 star hotel out of town but no frills
Second visit to the Estrella del Mar. Had a couple of issues on arrival - bath tub leaked, room v noisy, light not working however told there were no rooms worth moving to. Service needs work - maid walked in on me half naked without knocking despite no sign on the door. Staff v noisy and rushed in breakfast. Drinks menu limited and uninspiring. Pools ok, beach club v nice but expensive add-on considering how much you have already paid. Breakfast quality good, reception staff friendly. More
