Second visit of the year
Returned to the Yaramar for a week in September. On arrival was allocated a double room last room overlooking the beach on the 14th floor rather than a twin which we required (my fault not the hotels). This was one of the refurbished rooms with a walk in shower & had it been suitable would have been excellent (Room 1436). As I was travelling with my 84 year old father a quick visit to Reception got us swiftly transfered to a 12th floor twin with a bath & shower attachment overlooking the pool. (All rooms in the hotel either directly overlook the beach or overlook the 1st floor pool terrace with a side sea view looking towards the harbour). So a bonus point to Reception. A huge amount of praise goes to the TUI entertainment team of Hannah. Hannah, Luke & Aidan. The shows they put on in The Aquarium Lounge & Patio Bar are superb. Anyone who thinks these are just "Rep Shows" put on by the people you see daily round the pool need to think again. They are professionally trained performers who deserve to be somewhere far better than there (Sorry Yaramar!). Also the enthusiasm they put into the daytime activities is worth noting & made for a very happy atmosphere & played a large part in making a good hotel an enjoyable holiday. If I had to be slightly critical while overall the hotel was still functioning as previous visits,it was noticable at breakfast in the restaurant there were occasions where trays of food that had run out were not replaced quickly & on one occasion there was a queue for meat from the carvery as the chef was not there to cut fresh from the joint. Maybe a slight end of season vibe.More
The staff were lovely here and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast had evderything you needed and even had a dietetic/gluten free area for people. The evening meals were rotated and changed regularly. TYhe have an areas were they also make some food fresh in front of you if you would rather not take from the food already set out. The TUI team offered activities everday, which they encouraged you to join in with, but didn't hassle you at all. There was hardly anyone there under 60, but I was fine for us and made us feel young. The hotel was immaculately clean and your room was cleaned everyday, with towels changed every day if you wanted that. You could hire towels for the pool for 10 euros refundable deposit, with just 50cents charge if you wanted to change it. There was no charge for the safe or the remotes for the TV and air con, which was great. Plenty of TV channels available too if you were to be stuck in your room. Our first time trying here and we will definitely be back. The views from the rooms was great. More

Great Location (still)
About our 8th visit so it must be ok if we keep going back as my wife only gives places one chance because as she says we can spend our money anywhere! The entertainment is good both in the main bar area and the downstairs entertainment room. The restaurant is good with friendly efficient staff and plenty of variety on the buffets. It's a great location across the road from the beach with its own bar restaurant and sun beds. The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and is located on the first floor with views over the front. Reception is good and the staff friendly. Drinks aren't cheap but they have 2 happy hours so sort of makes up for it but what hotel bars are cheap?More
Been here for the last ten years, everything fantastic food, entertainment, that's why we keep coming back, but the pool boy who we normally see has apparently left, the new one a waste of space as you can see by the picture, come on yaramar get it cleaned xMore
Another fantastic holiday at the Yaramar
.Hi. Just returned less than a week ago from a 2 week holiday at the Yaramar. On arrival we had quite a queue in front of us as a lot of people got off our coach, but inside a few minutes we found ourselves checked in and given the room we had e-mailed the hotel for. They are very considerate at helping our guests getting the room they requested. Our room was immaculately kept spotlessly clean with our towels replaced every day along with our toiletries. The food was plentiful and hot. This we enjoyed very much. As were our breakfasts which we also enjoyed. We had dinner at the Rivera one night which was exceptional and can highly recommend the prawns and steak. The location is fantastic as it is just across the road from the beach and all the bars and shops you could want on your doorstep. Must remark on the staff in the hotel as they are a real asset to the hotel, always smiling and happy. Giving the guests a relaxing time seems important to them. We are planning a return visit next May and are already looking forward to it.More
