really nice hotel and all the staff were friendly and polite. Went half board and the food was generally very good and plenty of choice . Went in may and the hotel was quite busy and had happy hour until 10 oclock which was good ,entertainment was better some nights than other. One of the best hotels in Fuengirola, and well situated for all the best amenitiesMore
simply the best
Just got back home following a lovely break at the Florida Spa hotel .From the moment we arrived , the hotel was faultless .The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, My birthday was celebrated while we were there and my husband arranged flowers and champagne with the help from the reception staff, also a birthday cake and card from the hotel arrived during the evening meal , It was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated , The selection of food at all mealtimes was excellent , and beautifully cooked , We were spoit for choice. The rooms were very well equipped , with a free safe, fridge and teamaking facilities . We had full use of the spa which we really enjoyed. The hotel is in an excellent location , just across the road from the marina . We travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels with a higher rating, but this hotel beats the lot , all the staff went out of their way to make our holiday enjoyable . We spoke to many return guests . and can see why they return , We will definatly return to this hotel , Thank you once again for a lovely holiday . Susan Jones CannockMore
Wouldn't rate it as a 4 Star Hotel
We requested rooms at a higher level when booking and were given a room on level 2, out of 12, but did better than our companions given level 1! The hotel said there was nothing else available. We were asked to pay an additional 8 Euros per night for a room with a sea view which given all rooms faced forward to the sea seemed a bit odd, our second floor room did have a sea view though at no extra charge! When people got in the lift and pushed for level 12 we asked them how they managed to get rooms so high up and they said they were just given them without asking. Breakfast was good with a good choice of cooked foods, breads cheeses, cold meats, fruit etc Room was a little on the small side but had a balcony and a very good shower over the bath. The hotel pool photo must have been taken with a very wide-angle lens as it doesn't look like that in reality. Staff were pleasant but could not really be described in the main as friendly The lobby looks a little tired with velour covered furniture and usually about a dozen or so mobility scooters on charge in various locations scattered amongst the furniture. Overall OK but wouldn't be rushing back there. More
Friendly well situated hotel
A very helpfull hotel for disabled people staff friendly always happy to serve you nicely situated near town centre and marina . Wide pavements and disabled areas to cross great for mobility scooters ,which the hotel allow also will arrange hire if required .More
Good Hotel at a central location.
Recently returned from a week stay and despite the disappointment on arrival that it was not on the 'seafront' was pleasantly impressed and would not be against a return visit. I have stayed in higher grade hotels but this one is good. Rooms are adequate and providing you request a sea view on the 9th floor or above you will not be dissapointed. The pool is plunge pool and is small, but the beach is just over the road. Rooms include tea & coffee facilities and include a safe which is often charged extra. The Buffet restaurant has a wide choice and is varied daily, Special mention to the staff who work hard to ensure guest satisfaction (Sergio in particular) Bars are very busy in the evenings when 'happy hour' accompanies the entertainment.
